While Lakeside does not offer AP courses, the intensity of Lakeside’s program meets or exceeds AP material. In Spring 2012, 249 Upper School students sat for 461 examinations in 22 subjects. 82% scored 4s and 5s, and 95% scored 3 or better. Fifty-two seniors have earned AP Scholar Award recognition.

Over the past five years, our students have applied to 424 different colleges. They are attending 151 colleges and universities with 86% of graduates enrolled out-of-state. Each year some students postpone enrollment for gap year activities, and typically 100% go on to attend four year colleges.
