10月11日，GAC MOTOR 750台GS3及250台GA4从青岛启程发往尼日利亚拉各斯州。这批新车将被当地政府用作公共出行项目“LAGOS RIDE”的项目用车，这是中国汽车在尼日利亚公共出行项目的突破。
通力合作，共同拓展尼日利亚汽车市场
中国与尼日利亚今年已建交50周年，两国有着深厚友谊。近年来尼政府加大对汽车产业的支持，对中国品牌在尼发展充满信心。GAC MOTOR把握机遇，与当地汽车经销商CIG MOTORS强强联合，陆续引进GS3、GS4、GS8、GN8、GA4等明星车型，受到当地民众的广泛关注。此次项目落地，是GAC MOTOR携手海外经销商聚焦重点市场，推动非洲市场稳步发展的又一重大成果。

为了改善当地交通现状，提高居民生活水平，拉各斯州政府正式启动首批1000台的“LAGOS RIDE”公共出行项目，提供网约车服务。GAC MOTOR的SUV车型GS3及轿车车型GA4凭借乘坐舒适、时尚外观以及性能稳定的优异品质赢得政府青睐，最终成为该项目的入选车型。

尼日利亚拉各斯州州长巴巴吉德·桑乌鲁一行，曾于在2019年11月访问广东，提出与广东企业加强经贸合作的意愿。在中非双边加快推进“一带一路”全方位合作的背景下，GAC MOTOR加速在尼日利亚市场布局。在本次项目之前，GAC MOTOR已在当地顺利推进多个重大项目，如：与尼日利亚拉各斯州政府合资建设GAC MOTOR汽车组装工厂，被中国驻尼日利亚大使馆选为外交官专用车等。GAC MOTOR凭借品牌及产品实力获得来自官方的高度认可和信任，成为尼日利亚的中国智造“新名片”，是中国“工匠精神”迈向世界的体现。

On October 11, 750 GAC MOTOR GS3s and 250 GA4s were shipped all the way from Qingdao, China to Lagos, Nigeria, to be used by the Lagos State Government as vehicles for the public travel project "LAGOS RIDE". This is a breakthrough of Chinese cars in the public travel project in Nigeria.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nigeria, and the two countries enjoy a deep friendship. In recent years, the Nigerian government has increased its support for the automobile industry and is full of confidence in the development of Chinese brands in Nigeria. GAC MOTOR seized this opportunity and joined forces with CIG Motors, a local auto dealer, to introduce bestselling models including the GS3, GS4, GS8, GN8 and GA4 into Nigeria, attracting extensive attention in the local market. In order to improve local traffic and raise the living standards of residents, the Lagos state government launched "LAGOS RIDE", the project that this first batch of 1000 models will be used for. The public transport project will provide ride-hailing services for locals. GAC MOTOR's GS3 SUV and GA4 sedan, won the appreciation of the government with their excellent quality, comfort, appearance and performance. And these two models were selected as the final models to be used in the project.

A Bright Future for the Nigerian Market
Babajid Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos State, and his party paid a special visit to Guangdong in November 2019, proposing to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Nigerian & Guangdong enterprises. Under the background of this new era of One Belt, One Road, where China and Nigeria emphasize cross-border cooperation, GAC MOTOR has accelerated its deployment in the Nigerian market. Before this project, GAC MOTOR had successfully promoted several major projects locally in Nigeria, including the construction of a GAC MOTOR car assembly plant (jointly built with the Lagos government), and the selection of GAC MOTOR vehicles as the official cars of Chinese diplomats in Nigeria. With the strength of its brand and products, GAC MOTOR has won the recognition and trust of the government, and has become a form of "business card" for the intelligent Chinese manufacturing in the local market. The brand embodies the spirit of Chinese craftsmanship; Nigeria is just one place this concept is shown to the world.

Presently, GAC MOTOR's Nigerian dealer partner has four distribution outlets. The SKD factory is already operational, making GAC MOTOR the first Chinese automobile brand to complete parts assembly locally. Looking ahead, GAC MOTOR will continue to cultivate the Nigerian market, contributing to China and Nigeria's mutual support of one another through industry. GAC MOTOR will continue to tell the story of Chinese craftsmanship, conveying this concept to the world and striving to establish a strong brand reputation of reliable quality and innovative technology.
