On September 26th, Embassy of The People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted a grand reception to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The event was attended by Faisal, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province, alongside senior officials from the Saudi ministries of foreign affairs, internal affairs, and military departments, as well as ambassadors to Saudi Arabia from various countries, representatives from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Saudi elites from all walks of life, overseas Chinese, and representatives of Chinese-funded institutions, totaling around 800 people.

China and Saudi Arabia have a long history of friendly exchanges, and our bilateral relations have seen comprehensive, rapid, and in-depth development, with fruitful cooperation in various fields. The moment it was unveiled at the reception, the M8 Welfare Version became the center of attention, with guests actively experiencing the vehicle. The Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Representative to the OIC, Chang Hua, visited the GAC booth to learn about the functions of the M8's split welfare seats and highly praised GAC's commitment to enhancing social welfare and developing models to meet the needs of special groups.

During the event, numerous media outlets and influencers covered the M8 Welfare Version from multiple perspectives. Zhang Yongming, General Manager of GAC INTERNATIONAL Middle East Company, and Mohammed Ateah, Major Client Manager at Saudi AAC, were interviewed by CCTV, where they detailed the innovative features of the M8 Welfare Version and shared insights into GAC's development in the Saudi market and future expansion plans, expressing hopes for GAC's continued growth in the region.

The feedback from the market was overwhelmingly positive, bringing significant benefits to GAC's operations in Saudi Arabia. GAC INTERNATIONAL's Saudi distributor engaged in productive discussions with officials from the Saudi Ministry of Transport regarding the inclusion of welfare vehicles in the government procurement list. Additionally, over 20 retail and corporate purchase intentions were received at the event, laying a solid foundation for future sales of the M8 Welfare Version.
