步入埃安智能生态工厂,波兰媒体团也实地了解了从零部件供应到整车组装的高质流程。作为全球首个新能源汽车“灯塔工厂”,该工厂无论是绿色制造水平还是自动化程度都堪称行业标杆。媒体团对工厂广泛应用AI与机器视觉的质量监控系统,以及全球领先的柔性化生产体系给予高度评价。

From April 15 to 17, a leading Polish automotive media delegation visited GAC for an immersive exploration of the GAC R&D Center, AION’s Intelligent Eco-Factory, and the GAC Technology Museum. Through close interactions with R&D engineers, visiting smart production lines, and experiencing advanced products, they gained a comprehensive understanding of GAC's innovative R&D capabilities, advanced supply chain management, and stringent manufacturing quality standards. The visit highlighted GAC’s technological excellence, building momentum for its official entry into the Polish market in Q3 this year.

During this immersive tour, the Polish media delegation gained firsthand experience of GAC’s integrated capabilities in forward-looking R&D, green intelligent manufacturing, and innovative applications through in-depth visits to the company's research centers and production facilities. The journey offered profound insights into how Chinese automotive brands have transformed from “followers” to “frontrunners” in the global industry.
At the AION Smart Eco-Factory, the delegation witnessed firsthand the high-quality processes spanning from parts supply to vehicle assembly. As the world’s first “Lighthouse Factory” for new energy vehicles, the plant stands as an industry benchmark for both green manufacturing and automation. The media spoke highly of the factory’s advanced quality control systems powered by AI and machine vision, as well as its world-leading flexible production capabilities.

During their visit to the GAC R&D Center, the Polish media delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of GAC’s strategic investments and breakthrough achievements in cutting-edge areas such as intelligent connectivity and electrification. At core laboratories like the Vehicle Testing Center, the journalists expressed their admiration for GAC’s independent innovation capabilities. Dominika Jóźwiak from Vogue Polska commented, “This has been a fantastic tour. After visiting the GAC R&D Center, I feel it’s a place full of inspiration and design. Its innovative technological development can truly bring us better life experiences!”

As part of the visit, the Polish media delegation also experienced several GAC models, including the AION V, AION UT, and HYPTEC HT. This hands-on experience offered a deeper insight into how the “Tech GAC” strategy is effectively translated into real products and applications.

After experiencing the AION V, Maciej Gis from Elektromobilni gave high praise for the vehicle, stating, “Its body, design, and lines are incredibly appealing to me, and the interior feels truly premium—both in terms of materials and space, it stands out. Of course, the spacious trunk was also a big surprise. From a user experience perspective, I really appreciate its sporty performance. For the European market, power is a crucial factor, and I believe its strengths will resonate well with European consumers.”

Advancing a Smooth Path to Localization
During this product immersion tour, the Polish media delegation witnessed firsthand GAC’s leading capabilities in smart manufacturing and R&D innovation, as well as experienced the outstanding performance and intelligent features of GAC’s products.
“In terms of automotive manufacturing, I believe Europe should learn from China—GAC’s brand philosophy and design are truly advanced,” said Tomasz Sewastianowicz from Dziennikl as the tour drew to a close. He also noted that for Polish consumers, range, reliability, and intelligent features are key considerations when purchasing a new energy vehicle, and GAC’s performance demonstrates that it is well-positioned to compete head-on with mainstream brands in the Polish market.

At the recently concluded Milan Design Week, GAC announced the latest progress of its “Europe Market Plan” under the “One GAC 2.0” strategy, revealing that it will begin entering European countries, including Poland, starting from the third quarter. To enable Polish consumers to experience GAC’s advanced quality and technological innovation as soon as possible, GAC INTERNATIONAL officially signed a distribution agreement with Jameel Motors on April 8. Several of GAC’s new energy models will be introduced to the Polish market first, offering consumers a brand-new choice in car purchasing.

As one of the first European countries GAC will enter, Poland serves as a crucial hub connecting Eastern and Western Europe. Located at the intersection of the European “Amber Road” and the “Silk Road,” Poland holds strategic significance for GAC’s European expansion. In recent years, cooperation between China and Poland under the “Belt and Road Initiative” has deepened continuously. Last year’s action plan for strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership (2024–2027) has opened a new chapter of two-way collaboration in the new energy vehicle sector, providing solid support for GAC’s entry into the Polish market.
Through this Polish media immersive tour, GAC has further deepened its engagement and understanding of the Polish market, while reinforcing its commitment and confidence in the principle of “Operating Locally, Integrated Locally, Serving Locally, and Contributing Locally.” Moving forward, GAC will focus on cultivating the Polish market with products and services characterized by “Top-tier Quality and Pioneering Technology.” Leveraging its strengths in the new energy vehicle supply chain, GAC will promote localized production and use it as a starting point to extend its advanced smart manufacturing capabilities and green mobility philosophy to broader European markets.
