On March 28th, GAC INTERNATIONAL grandly held the launch ceremony of its new energy flagship MPV, the GAC E9, in Singapore. Wang Shunsheng, Vice President of GAC INTERNATIONAL; Tong Wei, Products General Manager of GAC Group; Chen Qingsong, Vice Asia General Manager of GAC INTERNATIONAL; and Sun Jianzhong, Product Director of GAC INTERNATIONAL, along with distinguished guests including Vincent Tan, CEO of EV Hub; Ernest Tan, Vice President of EV Hub; and Zhang Li, Director of EV Hub, gathered to witness this historic moment. Renowned Singaporean actress and singer Rui En graced the event, adding star power to the occasion. Additionally, the ceremony attracted 61 media representatives and key opinion leaders (KOLs), who collectively focused on the grand unveiling of the GAC E9 and experienced the distinctive appeal of this premium new energy MPV.

Wang emphasized Singapore’s pivotal role as a global financial hub and maritime logistics center, stating: "Singapore remains a key strategic hub for GAC in the Southeast Asian market. Since the launch of the AION Y in April last year, followed by the HYPTEC HT and AION V early this year, these models have garnered high market recognition for their exceptional performance and innovative technologies. This fully reflects Singaporean consumers’ trust and support for the GAC brand." He highlighted the E9, GAC Group's flagship model, as a testament to the brand’s commitment to green mobility: "The E9 combines luxury craftsmanship, intelligent technology, and eco-friendly concepts, representing GAC Group's latest achievement in sustainable transportation. Its launch will inject fresh vitality into Singapore’s premium mobility market and open a new chapter for green travel." Wang further stressed GAC INTERNATIONAL’s strategic expansion under the "ONE GAC 2.0" global initiative: "We are accelerating our product matrix development to provide global consumers with diversified, high-quality choices tailored to regional preferences. Our goal is to meet the personalized demands of markets worldwide while driving innovation in intelligent electrification."

Tong Wei, Product General Manager of GAC Group, systematically elaborated on the E9's core competitiveness. He highlighted that the E9 innovatively integrates pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and fuel-powered driving modes, seamlessly bridging urban commuting and intercity travel scenarios. Achieving an ultra-low fuel consumption of 1.8L/100km, the model eliminates range anxiety entirely. Through the meticulous integration of an aerodynamic body design and ergonomic seating, the E9 elevates luxury aesthetics and ride comfort to new heights, crafting an exclusive travel experience for consumers.

The guests had the opportunity to experience the comfort of the E9's seats, especially the second-row “Zero-Gravity+ 16-Point SPA Massage Seats”. A journalist praised, “This subtle balance of just supporting the knees without compressing the bent legs reminded me of the zero-gravity seats in the business class of intercontinental flights. " A Singaporean car reviewer added, "First class should not simply be a stacking of functions, but rather, like the E9, where every seat conceals a relaxing little surprise." The exceptional product quality of the E9 garnered high praise from the on-site guests, highlighting its competitive advantage in the high-end new energy MPV market.
