10月22日，第十五届全国运动会和全国第十二届残疾人运动会暨第九届特殊奥林匹克运动会（以下简称“十五运会和残特奥会”）澳门赛区赛事用车交付仪式在澳门东亚运动会体育馆隆重举行。95台专为澳门赛区定制的“右舵版”全球化赛事用车E9 PHEV正式交付。同时，广汽还特别为澳门赛区设立了广汽全运会智行保障中心，以应对赛事24小时高强度运转的复杂用车需求，全力保障十五运会和残特奥会的顺利进行。

GAC E9 Provides Full Support: Official Vehicle Fleet for the Macao Division of the 15th National Games Delivered
On October 22, the vehicle handover ceremony for the 15th National Games of the People's Republic of China, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities & the 9th National Special Olympic Games, the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the "15th National Games") was held at the Macao East Asian Games Dome. A total of 95 right-hand-drive units of the GAC E9 PHEV, specially customized for the Macao division, were officially delivered. To meet the complex, round-the-clock transport needs of this large-scale sporting event, GAC has also established the GAC Intelligent Mobility Support Center for the National Games Macao Division to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the competition period.

Officials attending the ceremony included Pun Weng Kun, Coordinator of Macao's Preparatory Office, Fu Si Na, Deputy Coordinator of Macao's Preparatory Office, Wang Shunsheng, Vice President of GAC INTERNATIONAL, Daniel Cheang, Vang Iek Group Executive Director, and Shu Xing, Director of the East Asia and South Asia Representative Office, Asia Pacific Regional Center. Central Chinese media correspondents stationed in Macao and leading local media outlets were also present to witness this milestone event.

At the handover ceremony, Pun Weng Kun stated: “Today, 95 brand new GAC E9 PHEVs stand ready and well-prepared, providing professional and reliable support for the smooth operation of the Macao division, and serving as a solid foundation for our work. We are confident that, with the strong backing of GAC, the events in the Macao division will achieve complete success.”

Wang Shunsheng said in his speech at the handover ceremony, “As a creator of low-carbon, green, and intelligent mobility for a better life, GAC regards this partnership as a new beginning. E9 PHEV Escorting the Fifteenth National Games
With its extensive experience in right-hand-drive manufacturing and well-established presence in Macao, GAC has provided 95 right-hand-drive E9 PHEV models for the Macao division. Earlier, at the National Games Torch Lighting Ceremony on October 9, the E9 PHEV appeared as an escort vehicle, showcasing its advanced and reliable technology. The model will continue to serve as an escort vehicle for the upcoming Torch Relay Ceremony on November 2, supporting this national-level sports event jointly hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. As a smart electric MPV developed from GAC’s deep understanding of the luxury MPV market, the E9 PHEV combines elegant comfort, intelligent hybrid power, cutting-edge safety, and an extended range surpassing 1,000 kilometers. Symbolically, the E9 PHEV represents the “spark” of GAC’s innovation in the new energy domain—a benchmark of technological progress. Leaders and guests at the venue test-drove the vehicles and expressed high praise for the E9 PHEV’s performance.

Since entering the Macao market in 2021, GAC has introduced a diverse lineup of gasoline, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric models. In October last year, the new GAC Macao showroom officially commenced operations. Looking ahead, GAC will continue to expand its footprint in Macao by accelerating channel development and introducing a wider variety of new energy models—including pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles—aimed at delivering smarter and greener mobility options for local consumers.
