2025年12月24日,泰王国驻广州总领事沈勇俊先生率领副总领事常佩瑤女士、海关处领事连芳婷女士一行8人到访广汽集团,先后参观广汽埃安工厂、广汽集团番禺总部,并与广汽国际相关负责人开展深度交流,共商深化中泰汽车产业合作事宜。广汽国际总经理卫海岗、副总经理王顺胜等相关领导及业务骨干全程陪同接待。

来访期间,代表团先后走进广汽埃安工厂与广汽集团番禺总部。在埃安工厂,代表团参观了新能源汽车生产制造流程,通过讲解,了解了技术研发、产品品质管控等情况。在广汽集团番禺总部参观后,双方围绕广汽在泰国业务发展情况进行座谈。

座谈会上,广汽国际从发展概况、市场业绩、业务规划三大维度,向代表团介绍了广汽在泰业务推进成果与布局方向。


坚持“生态出海”

推进“泰国行动”全面落地


自2023年7月布局泰国业务以来,广汽已带动集团内企业及合作伙伴协同出海。2025年3月曼谷车展上,广汽正式发布“One GAC 2.0”战略,并在泰国开启首个该战略指引下的本地化行动——“泰国行动”,以产品、渠道、服务、智造、能源生态与出行体系五大举措,构建泰国市场的生态体系。


广汽秉承“在泰国为泰国、融入泰国、服务泰国、贡献泰国”的理念,不断深化泰国市场生态构建和社会责任践行。产业生态层面,与泰国皇家理工等高等学府推进产教融合,并通过举办Sourcing Day活动推动供应链本地化;环保层面,积极推广EV车型,响应泰国《气候变化法》,助力当地低碳经济发展,全方位推动泰国汽车产业的绿色升级。


规模口碑双升,跻身泰国市场前列


自2023年下半年进入泰国市场后,广汽业务实现稳步进阶:2024年达成稳定销售规模,2025年销量迎来大幅跃升;其中2025年1-11月,广汽在泰国全品类品牌排名跻身前列,EV品牌排名表现尤为亮眼,各项数据同比均实现显著增长,成功实现“规模扩张+市场口碑”的双重突破。

“稳拓增建”策略成果显著,广汽出行生态领域表现突出:2025年1-11月,广汽泰国出租车销量势头强劲,市占率稳居行业前列;网约车落地规模持续扩大。基于现有基础,2026年广汽将秉持“稳出租、拓网约、增平台、建生态”策略,冲刺出租车与网约车销量新目标,持续强化出行生态优势。


产品、产能协同发力

广汽已完成泰国现地智造的体系化布局

在产品方面,目前累计导入7款CBU车型,同时实现 AION YP、V、UT 三款SKD车型的本地生产;2026年还将进一步丰富产品矩阵,覆盖更多细分市场需求。


在产能支撑方面,泰国工厂以 “立足泰国、辐射东盟、覆盖全球出口成本优势国家” 为定位,按 “阶段性分步扩产” 规划推进建设,逐步实现焊装、涂装、总装工艺的全流程本地化;出口业务同步落地,2026年将正式启动工厂出口,重点辐射东盟及澳新市场,预计当年形成初步出口规模,后续出口量将稳步增长,构建“本地生产+全球出口”的双循环发展格局。

Deepen China-Thailand Cooperation and Jointly Explore New Development Prospects丨A Delegation from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou Visits GAC


On December 24, 2025, an 8-member delegation led by Mr. Kajtiti Wiwatwanont, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou, including Ms. Porpot Changyawa, Deputy Consul-General, and Ms. Penpitcha Leangboonlertchai, Customs Consul, visited GAC. The delegation visited GAC AION Factory and GAC's Panyu Headquarters, and held in-depth discussions with relevant responsible persons of GAC INTERNATIONAL to discuss ways to deepen China-Thailand automotive industry cooperation. Wei Haigang, President of GAC INTERNATIONAL, Wang Shunsheng, Vice President of GAC INTERNATIONAL, and other business leaders accompanied the visit.

During the visit, the delegation toured the GAC AION Factory and GAC's Panyu Headquarters. At the GAC AION Factory, the delegation observed the production process of new energy vehicles and, through detailed briefings, gained insights into the company’s technological innovation and product quality control. After the visit to GAC's Panyu Headquarters, both sides held discussions focusing on GAC’s business development and operations in Thailand.

At the exchange meeting, GAC INTERNATIONAL systematically shared the achievements and layout direction of its Thailand business progress from three major dimensions: development overview, market performance, and business planning. 



Adhere to "Ecological Overseas Expansion" and Promote the Full Implementation of the "Thailand Initiative"


Since deploying its Thailand business in July 2023, GAC has driven affiliated enterprises and partners within the group to go overseas collaboratively. At the Bangkok Motor Show in March 2025, GAC officially launched the "One GAC 2.0" strategy and initiated the first localized initiative under this strategy in Thailand — the "Thailand Action". With five key measures including products, channels, services, intelligent manufacturing, energy ecology, and mobility system, GAC is building an ecological system in the Thai market.


Upholding the philosophy of "In Thailand, For Thailand, Integrating into Thailand, Serving Thailand, and Contributing to Thailand", GAC has continuously deepened ecological construction and social responsibility fulfillment in the Thai market. In terms of industrial ecology, it has promoted industry-education integration with institutions such as Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI) and held Sourcing Day activities to advance supply chain localization; in terms of environmental protection, it has actively promoted EV models, responded to Thailand's "Climate Change Act", supported the development of the local low-carbon economy, and comprehensively driven the green upgrading of Thailand's automotive industry.


Both Scale and Reputation Rise, Ranking Among the Forefront of the Thai Market


Since entering the Thai market in the second half of 2023, GAC's business has achieved steady progress: it reached a stable sales scale in 2024, and the sales volume has seen a substantial jump in 2025; from January to November 2025, GAC ranked among the top in the full-category brand ranking in Thailand, with a particularly outstanding performance in the EV brand ranking. All data have achieved significant year-on-year growth, successfully realizing the dual breakthrough of "scale expansion + market reputation".

The "Stabilize-Expand-Build-Increase" strategy strengthens ecological advantages, In the segmented mobility sector, GAC has delivered particularly outstanding performance: from January to November 2025, GAC's taxi sales in Thailand showed strong momentum, maintaining a top-tier market share in the industry; the scale of ride-hailing vehicles put into operation continued to expand. Building on the existing foundation, GAC will adhere to the strategy of "Stabilize Taxi Business, Expand Ride-Hailing Services, Enhance Platforms, and Build Ecosystem" in 2026, strive for new sales targets for taxis and ride-hailing vehicles, and continuously strengthen its advantages in the mobility ecosystem.


In terms of product and production capacity support, GAC has completed a systematic layout in the Thai market

In terms of product, a total of 7 CBU models have been introduced so far, and local production of three SKD models (AION YP, V, and UT) has been realized; in 2026, the product matrix will be further enriched to meet the needs of more segmented markets.


In terms of production capacity support, positioned as "based in Thailand, radiating ASEAN, and covering countries with global export cost advantages", the Thailand plant will advance construction in accordance with the "phased and step-by-step capacity expansion" plan, gradually realizing full-process localization of welding, painting, and final assembly processes; the export business will be launched simultaneously. In 2026, the plant's export business will be officially initiated, focusing on radiating the ASEAN, Australia, and New Zealand markets. It is expected to form an initial export scale in the same year, and the export volume will grow steadily in the future, building a dual-cycle development pattern of "local production + global export".


The visit of the delegation from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou has not only deepened the communication and mutual trust between the two parties, but also created a more favorable cooperation environment for GAC's continuous in-depth development in the Thai and ASEAN markets, and injected new impetus into the high-quality cooperative development of the China-Thailand automotive industry.
