International Business Development Manager

Job Description

Position Title: International Business Development Manager - Diabetes Care

Department: International Sales & Marketing Department-Diabetes Care

Reporting To: Director of International & Sales and Marketing

International Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the development of global business opportunities that support the commercialization of products, services, and technologies in the fast paced medical diagnostic industry. This position will report to the Director of International Sales & Marketing, requires demonstrated competencies in identifying and proposing new business opportunities and has previous international business development experience in medical diagnostics or pharmaceuticals. This role will also require previous experience establishing and developing business relationships, negotiating terms, managing business contracts and private labeling experience. Strengths in communication and relationship development is a must as this individual will coordinate with internationals sales managers and the international marketing department.

Responsibilities

1. Works closely with sales managers to develop new distributors in blank markets and seek out OEM, private labeling opportunities etc with large multinational accounts or NGO.

2. Targets, contacts and leads the process for meeting with potential partners and developing new business in blank markets where ACON’sOn Call® brand does not have an exclusive distributor or markets where On Call® has a large potential and has not fully penetrated the market.

3. Work closely with sales managers and local distributors to establish new sales channels and other business opportunities.

4. Creates customer / product penetration strategies and deployment of such for new and existing distributor partners.

5. Prepares for and attends global and region tradeshows and exhibitions when necessary, develops new contacts and follows up after each show.

6. Provides trainings to international sales teams and business development and new sales channels.

7. Gives necessary marketing and business development support to EU and LA regions.

8. Completes after sales feedback collection, market surveys and product improvement.

9. Reviews of manual, insert and packaging of all ACON products whenever PMT is needed.

Job Requirements

1、Bachelor degree or above

23+ years marketing working experience, biotech industry preferred

3Fluent in English speaking, working or living experience in US preferred

4Work location is based in Hangzhou, China
