Fête de la Musique Beijing Music Day
Fête de la Musique has already started. This Sunday was pretty impressive. The crowd that came to enjoy both some classical swing and some awesome electro was massive
This is just the beginning!!
This Tuesday is 21st of June: the day to celebrate Fête de la Musique all over the world. While in France you walk around from bands to bands performing right on the streets, here in Beijing, the French Lab organizes concerts in different venues. This year, we partnered up with 14 venues in total!
*Edited* Birdstriking and the Beauty are playing at Temple. Not at Modernista as mentionned in our previous post.
This has been made possible thanks to the amazing support of the French Embassy: while they organize Fête de la Musique all over China, they support our event in Beijing by flying in some bands directly from France!

Behind the scenes, you might run into a very particular person jumping around to make sure everything goes well. Elie has been organizing Fête de la Musique for 3 years now. He is one of the most experienced member of the French Lab and has been pulling all his energy out to provide one of the nicest events of the association.

Fête de la Musique is also a day where non-professional musicians can show their talent! TheFrench Choir will perform at 7:30 pm at the French Institute (l’Institut Français) and they will appreciate your support! If you’d rather produce your own music, go to Dada at 6pm to become the best electro producer in town!
