About CRI English Service
China Radio International is a state-run international radio news service based in Beijing which broadcasts in 65 languages.
The English Service has recently celebrated its 70th anniversary. It now broadcasts more than 400 hours of programming each day across all of its platforms. The English radio programs can be heard on local FM & AM stations globally.
Having started as a traditional radio broadcaster, CRI's English Service has transformed into a multi-media platform that produces text, photos, audio reports, videos and live streaming.

新闻主播 News Anchor
Position Responsibilities
China Radio International's English Service is looking for news anchors for its flagship news program The Beijing Hour, one hour of live news and current affairs from China and the rest of the world.
Primarily, the role would involve writing and editing news stories both for radio and the new media, reading Hourly News, hosting The Beijing Hour program including doing live interviews. Other duties would include sitting in for hosts of other programs and taking part in promotional events for CRI. Expect to be assigned other duties as necessary; our team does a lot and members will be expected to pitch in.
Position Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
Native English speaker with outstanding communication skills
Journalistic experience, good news writing and editing skills.
Excellent presenting skills.
Intimate knowledge of current events and international affairs, particularly as pertaining to China
Ability to work against deadlines.
Flexibility and ability to work at irregular hours, weekends, holidays.
The shift includes Monday-Friday 4am-11am;
Wednesday-Sunday 1pm-9pm;
Monday-Wednesday 1pm-9pm+Saturday-Sunday 4am-11am
Normally, the shift rotates every two months

Radio Reporters
Position Responsibilities
Reporters will write and edit stories related to Chinese and international affairs. Book guests for interviews. Research topics independently and write questions for interviews when necessary. They may also be asked to participate in on-air discussions with co-hosts. This position also involves tasks related to new media, such as editing, transcribing audio, and social media posting.
Position Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
