TSL Education is an international education organisation based in northeast Beijing composed of people from all over the globe including China, the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, Venezuela, Russia and Malaysia. Our two main projects are a small private school and an innovative education programme currently operating in twenty government schools. We are growing quickly and developing other projects including summer courses in the UK, a mentorship programme between University of Cambridge and low-income Chinese students, a theatre course, a book on creativity and a literary journal for high school students.  Founded in 2013, TSL Education is an enterprise education organisation focused on developing internationally-competitive Chinese learners who can thrive in any situation. With a passionate team of international educators, TSL Education projects include a tutorial college (The Learning Tree), an enterprise education programme in fifteen Beijing public schools, an annual enterprise education course in Cambridge University, Beijing Field Studies (environmental science programme), and a bilingual international literary journal for teens. In our community, all members are encouraged to get involved in these projects depending on their passions.        Cross-Curricular Consultant

Can you?

• Make use of your own wide-ranging interests and linguistic expertise to create completely original bespoke classes and challenges for students, based on their own curiosity-driven questions?
  

• Work with a diverse and committed community of educators to create a curriculum that truly prepares the young people of Beijing for a new tomorrow?
  

• Model lifelong-learning, empathy and excellent communication skills for the young people you will work with for a truly holistic education?
  

• Respond sensitively to students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, helping them to build knowledge, critical thought and increasing intellectual independence?

Position Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess bespoke one-to-one and small group classes to students K-13

• Provide exam support for international schools admissions tests and public examinations

• Collaboratively plan, team-teach and assess at least 3 x 5-week project-based-learning class projects over the course of the academic year
  Lead 1-2 weekly Enrichment activities per year

• Contribute to PE and specialist enterprise days, workshops, projects and activities throughout the year 

• Support BFL systems consistently within the Learning Tree, and contribute to their continued development
  

• Commit to ongoing training, team curriculum development and school improvement throughout the year
  

• Work closely with Study Progress Consultants and teacher management team to provide daily feedback to parents and ensure students are fully supported

• 协助外交辅助教学及学生作业辅导工作；
  

• 协助组织并参与各类教学相关活动。
  

• 协助开展教学调研工作，并为教研组和学生家长提供相关支持工作。

职位要

• 1 - 2年的英语教学经验;
  

• 良好的英文听说读写能力;
  

• 能设身处地并积极解决实际问题;
  

• 积极跟进学生的学习进度，关心学生成长。
  
  

有以下经验者，优先考虑

• 雅思6.5 或同等英语能力；

• 英语或相关专业；

• 教育行业工作经验；

• 结果导向；

• 曾在英语国家学习或工作经验。
