OKHIWI Media started as a video production company 11 years ago in London. We have now moved our media and communications business to Beijing and are working on a lot of new and exciting multimedia projects. One of them being I’m in China, (http://iaminchina.cn) it is an innovative project to let the world know more about a modern China in a more fun and engaging way. By inviting non-Chinese to take part in a variety of campaigns, events, and filming projects, and spread them on a cluster of worldwide media platforms. Social Media Executive
Position Responsibilities
Help to create social media content (mainly writing)
Conceptualise and film simple short videos for Instagram stories function and Twitter etc
Conceptualise and create artwork which can be used for cover photos, general posts, gifs/stickers and memes (whether on their own or working with in-house design team)
Interact with others on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Reddit, as well as on Linkedin (among others) as an I'm In China Social Media Ambassador
Regularly compile and assess analytics concerning social media posts on our various platforms
Position Requirements
Must be a good team player dedicated to creating transformational change within the workplace
Needs good English writing skills
Fluent in Chinese Mandarin
Good understanding of Chinese culture and willingness to learn more about the country and where it's going, along with its current trends
Photo-editing skills, with experience using either Adobe Photoshop or other photo-editing software
Experience in managing and promoting either a blog, vlog, podcast or music of their own on popular social media platforms
