Educational Consultant
Location: Beijing
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- We are searching for highly motivated and driven young professionals to join our Beijing office as educational consultants for high school students seeking admission into top American Universities and Colleges. As an educational consultant, you will be paired with talented Chinese high school students, and responsible for guiding students through the university application process. Through individualized instruction during weekly meetings with students, consultants will work to help students reflect upon their life experiences, plan their extra-curricular activities, improve selfconfidence, master interviewing techniques, express themselves clearly and effectively, and express unique talents and passions through application essays.
- In addition to application guidance, consultants are encouraged, as members of a fast growing and vibrant company, to put forth new ideas as we continue to develop new programs and initiatives to unlock the potential of each student. Each consultant will be paired with a Chinese assistant responsible for arranging student meetings and other logistical matters. There are also several opportunities for business trips to other cities throughout China to meet with students throughout the year.
- We expend considerable resources and care in training our consultants, hence consultants should be prepared to commit to a two-year employment term. Consultants who excel in their roles and demonstrate passion for assisting students realize their potential will be provided with significant professional development opportunities to assume managerial responsibilities and lead initiatives within the company.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top 50 American university or liberal arts college
• Exceptional writing, speaking, and communication skills
• Friendly personality with an ability to relate well to high school aged students
• Focused on encouraging students on a process of self-discovery, personal development, and
self-reflection throughout the application process
• Values the process of helping talented students improve their writing skills, explore ideas,
and engage in nuanced conversation to complete individualized application essays
• Able to work on a timeline to meet specific deadlines and objectives
• Strong sense of responsibility and care for the students under your guidance

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience, starting from 20,000 RMB/month

o Yearly Contract completion Bonus starting from 1.5 times Monthly salary
