The Role
Location: CBD Beijing
You’ll work alongside new and existing developer partnerships and brands, learn about and seek out new prospective partners for our wide range of publishing and distribution, managed ads, self-publishing platform (OPP) and LiveOps tools and services. In collaboration with Yodo1’s Business Development, Global Publishing and other disciplinary teams you’ll become promotional influencer and leader for the way our company and games, new and existing, take shape across hundreds of platforms within Chinese and global markets.
Duties
•Work closely with the Business Development and Global Publishing teams to find, evaluate, pursue leads for promising titles to add to the Yodo1 portfolio, PC and Mobile;
•Seek out opportunities for potential partnerships beyond traditional publishing deals, such as OPP, KTplay licensing agreements and managed ad services;
•Source and pursue new leads through contact methods such as email and social platforms, MailChimp, industry events and conferences;
•Situate yourself within and take part in key team meetings; stay informed of your accounts’ product and development status and cycles, updates, fixes and new content;
•Liaise with Yodo1’s executive management leaders where applicable and strategically coordinate with the various disciplinary teams to ensure health workflow and productivity standards are met;
•Assist the Business Development, Product, User Acquisition and Brand Managers, and other key team members with market research and competitive benchmark analyses;
•Assist with brand opportunities and awareness by facilitating conversation between the developer and keeping the Chinese and Global Marketing teams informed of all new accounts and associated content and information in your charge;
•Work alongside the Product, Creative and Marketing teams by providing and or organizing the creation/adaptation of necessary information and assets within a timely manner;
•Work with Business Development and Marketing team members to research, strategize, source and reach out to potential influencers and KOLs, and execute on promotional campaigns and product decisions for our games.
Position Requirements
•Native fluency or professional fluency in English
•0-2 years of working experience (this is a junior role)
•Basic spoken Chinese capability. Willingness to study to increase fluency.
•Outside-the-box and creative thinking;
•Strong initiative and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail; has a team player mindset and the capacity to learn;
•Experience within Business Development, Brand or Account Management, Digital Marketing, or another related field;
•Ability to reside in China (work visa can be provided)
•The ability to work on-site for the duration of your Beijing placement;
•The ability to travel with team members to events and conferences, both within China and globally.
Desired Attributes
•Graduate of a bachelor’s degree or higher;
•A passion for gaming;
•Previous Chinese work experience;
•Experience with Confluence and Microsoft Office;
•Experience using CRM tools such as Zoho.
