Tasks
1.Be responsible for analyzing company financials and updating excel models.
2.Support members of a squad in delivering scalable, auditable, secure and reliable data/backend services.
3.Collaborate with business and technical subject matter experts to identify alternative solutions and advise them both on options, risks, cost/benefit, impact on other business processes, and fit with business and IT priorities.
4.Coordinate technical projects spanning multiple squad
5.Possess a deep understanding of the product and business goals which you can translate into tech.
6.Drive good engineering practices and define and teach these practices within our developer community.
7.Evaluate external vendors and partners as needed from time to time.
8.Travel globally with senior management team to New York, Dubai, London, Hongkong, Taiwan, Middle East countries (The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait if any) is needed.
Requirements
1.Bachelor’s degree or higher in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other quantitative disciplines
2.Have 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, visualization, Data warehousing, and/or Business analytics, highly preferabe in a technology, financial services, real estate background company.
3.Financial Engineers and Data Analysts with experience in High proficiency in SQL and javascript; strong scripting ability
4.Google BigQuery is a plus.
5.Financial and Portfolio Analysis, building reports.
6.Working with Visualization software solutions such a Tableau, Inetsoft, PowerBI, etc.
7.Time Series Reporting: Data smoothing and calculations such as: Exponential, Compounding, Additive Moving Averages Splines, etc.
8.Curiosity to explore new technologies and analytics methodologies.
9.Working with remote teams, Interest in finance a plus.
10.Willing to travel.
11.Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
Salary
Negotiable, depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
