The popularity of short videos has broken down language and cultural barriers and linked the lives of young people around the world.
As "internationalization" becomes a global issue at this moment, short video has become the best carrier of international cultural communication. It is a powerful platform that helps young people to build bridges of communication and dialogue.
Therefore, we are happy to announce the start of our First Season “Viewing China” Mobile Short Video Contest for Foreign Youth, where each and every foregin youth can tell the world their very own stories about China!
About Us
“Viewing China” Mobile Short Video Contest for Foreign Youth, co-organized by China International Youth Exchange Center (CIYEC) , BTV and Douyin, is recruiting videos from foreign youth in China that focusing on your favorite spot, unforgettable moments or anything represents your life in China.
What we OFFER
There will be Grand prize, First, Second and Third Prizes in the contest

GRAND PRIZE: 1 person -￥50K
FIRST PRIZE: 2 people - ￥25K each
SECOND PRIZE:3 people - ￥15K each
THIRD PRIZE: 5 people- ￥10K each

All authors who have successfully passed our Qualifiers will receive a certificate ofparticipation as well!
Procedure
Collecting videos
Qualifiers
Add some finishing touches to the video (subtitles, checking code stream etc.)
Showcase the videos on BTV, TikTok, Weibo etc
Final evaluation & Offline award ceremony (April, 2021)

Entry Requirements
The duration of the video is 30 seconds - 2minutes.
All nationalities and backgrounds are welcome to join.
Chinese / English would be preferred!
All videos should be shot with mobile phones. The format of the videos should be MP4. The file's size should be less than 400M.
( also, we suggest your video frame size is at least 1920*1080 and the code stream is not less than 8M)
