#Your Role #

As the Head of Greater China Sales, you will be responsible for building a world-class sales team from 

the ground up locally and growing our customer base in China, developing and executing the sales plan and managing the sales forecast and opportunity lifecycles to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets. 

Can be based in Shanghai, Beijing or Shenzhen


 Duties

  • Build a world class sales team locally in China 

  • Create the go-to-market strategy to expand project44’s customer base

  • Set the vision to rapidly scale our team and create consistent demand for our product offerings in the marketplace

  • Develop detailed sales plans and sales forecasts

  • Travel to meet with clients, prospects and partners

  • Manage a large portfolio of domestic and global accounts

  • Consistently meet quarterly and annual targets

  • Understand competitive solutions and project44 differentiators

  • Drive active sales cycles while building new business pipeline through prospecting and relationship building with top tier Shippers

  • Be the leader, manage and direct a sales strategy that allows for customer, channel and project44 to win


 Responsibilities

  • Experience working with fast-growth technology company, strongly preferred

  • 12+ years of demonstrated career progression and strong performance as a senior sales leader, Ideally in enterprise software sales. A minimum of 8 years leading a sales or partnership development organization.

  • Experience in supply chain and enterprise software sales, strongly preferred

  • Experience working with a SaaS or platform product, preferred

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and in a large group

  • Ability to be strategic, but still roll up your sleeves to accomplish what needs to be done

  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines

  • Deep knowledge of the supply-chain and logistics space strongly preferred.

  • Ability to operate in a rapidly-changing, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a cadence of delivering consistent results

  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating deals at senior levels of major enterprise customers; ideally brings deep relationships from the supply chain space

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background

  • Strong communication skills. Fluent English and Mandarin to support our business in the Greater China region.
