Company
Our client is a joint venture between global toy giant and Chinese internet giant, which develops and publishes mobile games based on iconic toy IPs.
Location: Hangzhou, China
Duties
Maintain an active, engaged, and positive presence on all official social media channels .
Run regular community engagements that inspire conversation about or around our games.
Work with branding team to create exciting high-concept community events, online or in-person, which contribute to build a better community.
Connect with moderators across all channels and manage their reports.
Manage moderator responsibilities and send in-game rewards weekly.
Be responsible for moderator behavior and make sure these community representatives maintain a good image for our brand
Keep our community rules updated and followed. Manage toxicity in the community. Remove community members who do not follow the rules.
Make sure our channels have proper moderator coverage. Recruit and onboard new moderators when others take a break or leave.
Write copies of social media posts, video descriptions, text on all static image assets and videos.
Proofread copy on app store descriptions, marketing copy, and any other English copy handled by the marketing department.
Requirements
Native English speaker, willing to work onsite in Hangzhou, China
3-5 years of game operation experience, and at least 2 years of global game experience
Have a clear understanding and strategy for how to engage with different social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc) in a way that well represents the company.
Strong understanding of English grammar and syntax.
Ability to write consciously and clearly.
