Location
Onsite job, based in Singapore
Duties
Establish themselves as the primary contact in Oversea Regions, such as APAC, North America, Europe etc.; promoting the benefits of procurement engagement from an early stage in the Business Planning process.
Build strong relationships with and act as a strategic partner for internal and cross functional leadership and operational teams in a matrix organization.
Establishes, revises and refines procurement policies and procedures for oversea regions. Develops and optimizes processes and all relevant policies to different sites and enables the sites to follow the optimized procurement processes.
Identify and implement industry leading best practices to drive transformation across Strategic Procurement processes and capabilities enabling the organization to drive stakeholder value.
Lead on the development of sourcing strategies in key categories including but not limited to IT, corporate service etc. and provide insight into market trends, cost structures and cost drivers.
Provide project management and analytical leadership for core procurement processes.
Act as the primary interface between key suppliers and the business for all vendor related issues as required.
Provides coaching and leadership, ensuring the development of necessary skills in a team based environment.
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills and methodologies to facilitate change management with teammates at all levels of the organization
Previous experience at mid/senior level within a global Procurement organization, minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement leadership;
Leadership experience – proven track record of coaching, developing and grow high performing team.
Hands-on experience with indirect procurement experience.
The ability to build good multicultural business relationships and influence others is a key skill needed to be successful in this role.
Written and verbal fluency in both English and Chinese
