Domestic Steel Sales Manager
Location:
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Our client is a a modernized service-oriented enterprise mainly specializing in supply chain operation and real estate development. It is mainly engaged in the export and import of steel products, the business items include deformed steel bars, steel coils and plates, section steel, wire rods, structural steel and special steel. In 2019, the sales volume was 2 million tons and the export turnover reached 900 million USD.
DUTIES
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for steel products in the domestic market.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and increase market share.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and satisfaction is maximized.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the steel or related industries.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Strong knowledge of the steel market, products, and sales channels in Malaysia.
Fluent in both Malay and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
