Product Manager

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of the coatings industry, strong market insights, and the ability to drive product innovation and growth. The Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing success of our products in the market.

Product Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement the product strategy for the coatings division, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the coatings industry.
Define product vision, goals, and roadmap, prioritizing product initiatives based on market demand and business impact.
Product Development and Innovation
Collaborate with R&D to conceptualize and develop new coating products that meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
Work with suppliers and external partners to source raw materials and technologies that enhance product performance and sustainability.
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence
Analyze market data to understand customer preferences, usage patterns, and pain points.
Monitor competitor products and strategies, identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
Provide regular market reports and insights to senior management to inform strategic decision - making.
Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in the coatings, chemicals, or related industries.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing coating products in the market.
Experience working with cross - functional teams and managing product development projects.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results.
