Over The Air Test Engineer
Location: Shanghai, China
Duties
We are looking for an expatriate Test Engineer who is fluent in both Chinese and English to take charge of testing and operations for EU-regulated projects. The role is based in Shanghai and covers system testing, troubleshooting, and operational support to guarantee high-quality delivery.
Design and execute test plans covering functional, integration, and regression testing.
Write test cases, record results, raise defect reports, and track fixes to closure.
Coordinate with the European team to perform compliance testing against EU standards.
Monitor system health, respond rapidly to on-line incidents, and resolve issues.
Assist the European team in system deployment, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of software testing or DevOps/ops experience; familiar with test processes and tools such as JIRA and Selenium.
Comfortable with Linux (common commands) and basic scripting (Shell/Python).
Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and fundamental networking concepts.
Citizen of EU countries with strong written and spoken Chinese and English, or Chinese candidates holding permanent residency in the European Union.
Prior exposure to EU or other international projects is a plus.
