SUBJECT: RATE APPLICABILITY RULE REVISION
Dear Valued Customer,
The rate applicable to shipments between Asia, North Europe, Mediterranean, North Egypt, and Black Sea is based on the following:
The departure date on the first water leg of a shipment’s journey (onboard vessel date)
The date the shipments are received at select APL in-land container depots (cargo receipt date)
On 1st March 2014, APL will be revising the rate applicability rule to solely the cargo receipt date for shipments between Asia, North Europe, Mediterranean, North Egypt, and Black Sea.
