英语 | Belarusian National Pavilion Launching Ceremony Held

Driven by the coordinated implementation of policies for industrial development, trade facilitation, innovation and cross-border support in the Chengdu Qingbaijiang Railway Port Area of the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Chengdu International Railway Port now serves as a national logistics hub and an highland for opening up. Chengdu International Railway Port has signed contracts to introduce multiple national pavilions; the national pavilions of Malaysia and Thailand are also expected to make their presence soon. The port area will quickly form an “Asia-Chengdu-Europe” national pavilion cluster, establish a new model of the modern service industry in the Sichuan Free Trade Zone and help Chengdu build an international consumer city.

In recent years, Chengdu International Railway Port has cooperated closely with Belarus and successively established a large logistic channel between China and Belarus through the China Railway Express (Chengdu), promoting cooperation in trade, transportation, and other industries between the two sides. During the ceremony, in-depth discussions on the investment environment, economic opening up, culture, and other aspects and exchanges in sectors including supply chain, equipment technology, AI multidimensional intelligent experiences and financial services are conducted, aiming to build up a Chengdu-Europe two-way exchange platform that integrates tourism, exhibition, investment, and service in one place.

The Belarusian National Pavilion was constructed modeling the architectural appearance of a 15th-century Gothic Mill Castle, which features a typical neo-classical style. The main products to be displayed in the pavilion are imported from Belarus, including food and beverages, agricultural and other products and wood. It also has a cross-border direct mail commodity experience center. Visitors can even grill steaks and bake cakes on the spot, experiencing the European-style life through CRE. The Belarus Pavilion is divided into seven zones: the lobby area focusing on the Sino-Belarus Silk Road culture, trading zone, the Sino-Belarus Industrial Park area, cultural exhibition area, performance stage area, product experience area and office area. The idea of the theme fully expresses the spirit and temperament of Belarusian culture. The display of the entire pavilion takes the "red zone" as the main line, leading the public to travel through the themes of "cultural immersion," "green life" and "people-oriented" philosophy, allowing visitors to discover and appreciate the wisdom of modern people in urban development when "exploring" Belarusian culture.

The “Asia-Chengdu-Europe” national pavilion cluster builds a talent incubation-cooperation platform for Chinese and foreign companies and a bilateral cultural and art exchange bridge by making full use of the international logistics channel. The cluster has become a place to exhibit art,  road shows, a base for university internship and a space for exchange between enterprises, providing high-level overseas resources for innovation and entrepreneurship and creating new employment opportunities. At the same time, high-quality business, cultural, and educational resource will be introduced into western China through these platforms.
