2021年，国务院批准中国（四川）自由贸易试验区成立4周年。同年6月21日，位于青白江的成都国际铁路港被批复成为国家级经开区。2021年上半年，中欧班列（成渝）开行近3000列，智能家电、电子产品等逐渐成为主要货源，占出口总量68.35%。同样位于青白江的欧洲产业城成为成都国际铁路港的产业承载地。

In 2021, the State Council approved the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the China (Sichuan) Free Trade Pilot Zone. On June 21 of the same year, the Chengdu International Railway Port, located in Qingbaijiang, was approved as a national Economic Development Zone. In the first half of 2021, the China-European Express Train (“Chengdu-Chongqing”) has operated nearly 3,000 trips and has gradually become the main source of goods for smart home appliances and electronic products, accounting for 68.35% of total exports. The European Industrial City, also located in Qingbaijiang, has become the industrial base of the Chengdu International Railway Port.

This October, a batch of "Made in Chengdu" TVs is about to set out from the Qingbaijiang European Industrial City and head to the Chengdu International Railway Port in Qingbaijiang where the China-Europe Express train will go through Martin’s home country - Russia.

俄罗斯蓉漂马丁到成都已经四年了，在西南财经大学学习的他，一直对成都如何完成从内陆腹地向开放枢纽的转变充满了兴趣。他来到位于成都青白江的欧洲产业城，这里聚集了83家新材料、智能电器等领域的进出口加工贸易企业，有了这个产业城，大量的货品就能更快速方便地搭乘中欧班列，出口到“一带一路”沿线国家及地区。

It's been 4 years since Martin came from Russia to Chengdu. Studying at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Martin has always been fascinated by Chengdu’s transformation from a landlocked inland city to an international port. He arrived at the European Industrial City located in the Qingbaijiang District of Chengdu where 83 import and export trade processing companies in various fields of new materials, smart appliances, etc. are gathered. In this new industrial city, a large number of goods can be quickly and conveniently boarded onto the China-Europe Express train and exported to countries and regions along the "Belt and Road."

中欧班列（成都）自2013年4月26日开行以来，现已累计开行超过15000列。成都国际铁路港已经初步建立起了四通八达的国际班列线路网络和陆海货运配送体系，以成都为主枢纽，联接境外66个城市和境内20个城市。

The China-Europe Express Railway (Chengdu) operated its inaugural train on April 26, 2013. To date, it has operated over 15,000 trips. The Chengdu International Railway Port has already established itself as an international railway network extending in multiple directions with a land-sea freight distribution system. 66 overseas cities and 20 domestic cities are connected with Chengdu acting as the main hub.

除了电视机，电子信息设备、制造业大型设备、先进材料、零配件及整车、农副产品等都曾搭载中欧班列出口海外。如今，在马丁的见证下，这列中欧班列即将朝俄罗斯出发，13天后它将抵达圣彼得堡，让马丁家乡的人也用上这10800台 “成都造”的电视机。

In addition to TV sets, IT equipment, large-scale manufacturing equipment, advanced materials, automobiles and car parts, as well as agricultural products and byproducts have all been exported overseas on the China-Europe Express. Today, Martin will witness this China-Europe Express train depart for Russia, where 13 days later it will arrive in St. Petersburg, and the people of Martin’s homeland will be able to enjoy these nearly 10,800 "Made in Chengdu" TVs.

In addition to the Chengdu International Railway Port, the China-Europe trains operating in Chengdu and Chongqing are the two most influential China-Europe Express trains in western China. The Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle formed by two cities encompasses the highest level of economic development in western China. Therefore, in the future, the Chengdu-Chongqing region will play a significant role in China's international trade.
