前言
Accordingto the statistics published by the customs, China’s total exports and importsamounted to 24.78 trillion yuan in the first eight months of this year, anincrease of 23.7% year on year, up 22.8% compared with the same period in 2019.The export value reached 13.56 trillion yuan, an increase of 23.2% year onyear, up 23.8% compared with the same period in 2019. The import value amountedto 11.22 trillion yuan, an increase of 24.4% year on year, up 21.8% comparedwith the same period in 2019. The trade surplus reached 2.34 trillion yuan, up17.8% year on year. In U.S. dollar terms, China’s total exports and importsamounted to 3.83 trillion U.S. dollars in the first eight months of this year,an increase of 34.2% year on year, up 29.3% compared with the same period in2019. The export value reached 2.1 trillion U.S. dollars, an increase of 33.7%year on year, up 30.3% compared with the same period in 2019. The import valueamounted to 1.73 trillion U.S. dollars, an increase of 34.8% year on year, up28.1% compared with the same period in 2019. The trade surplus reached 362.49 billionU.S. dollars, up 28.9% year on year.
In thesame period, the import of mechanical and electrical products reached 4.75trillion yuan, an increase of 17.7%. Among them, integrated circuit (IC)imports reached 424.05 billion units, up 27.2%, worth 1.76 trillion yuan, up16.5%, and automobile (including chassis) imports reached 675 thousand units,an increase of 31.2%, worth 239.02 billion yuan, up 38.6%.

Administration Measures ofthe State Administration for Market Regulation for the Registration and Filingof Medical Devices (SAMR Order No. 47)
The WeChat official account of the SAMR said that theSAMR had passed the Administration Measures for the Registration and Filing ofMedical Devices and the Administration Measures for the Registration and Filingof In-Vitro Diagnostic Reagents (hereinafter referred to as the twoAdministration Measures) at its 11th session, and the two AdministrationMeasures shall take effect as of October 1, 2021. Medical devices have abearing on the health and life safety of the people. Premier Li Keqiang signedthe No. 739 Order of the State Council, in which the new Regulations on theSupervision and Administration of Medical Devices (hereinafter referred to asthe Regulations) were issued, On February 9, 2021.
For the purposes of carryingout the new Regulations, implementing the requirements of the reform of thereview and approval system for medical devices, establishing a more scientificsystem for the supervision and administration of medical devices, andstrengthening the registration management of medical devices, the NationalMedical Products Administration organized to revise the former AdministrationMeasures for the Registration of Medical Devices and the former AdministrationMeasures for the Registration of In-Vitro Diagnostic Reagents. With tenchapters and 124 articles, the new Administration Measures for the Registrationand Filing of Medical Devices will further guarantee the safety, effectiveness,quality controllability, and traceability of medical devices and shall takeeffect as of October 1, 2021. The Administration Measures for the Registrationof Medical Devices issued in the Order No. 4 of the former China Food and DrugAdministration on July 30, 2014 shall be abolished simultaneously.
