
According to the customs statistics, in the first ten months of this year, China’s total export and import value amounted 25.95trillion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 1.1%. Amongthem, the export reached 14.3 trillion yuan, up by 2.4% year-on-year; theimport reached 11.6 trillion yuan, down by 0.5% year-on-year. The surplus was 2.7trillion yuan.
In October, China’s export and import value amounted 2.83 trillion yuan,up by 4.6% year-on-year. Among them, the export reached 1.61 trillion yuan, upby 7.6% year-on-year; the import reached 1.21 trillionyuan, up by 0.9% year-on-year; the surplus was 401.75 billion yuan.

6. Noticeof the State Administration of Foreign Exchange on Issuing the Provisions onthe Administration of Foreign-Related and Domestic Receipt and Payment Vouchersof Domestic Banks
For the purposesof adapting to the development of banking services and regulating theadministration of foreign-related and domestic receipt and payment vouchers ofdomestic banks, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange revised and issuedProvisions on the Administration of Foreign-Related and Domestic Receipt andPayment Vouchers of Domestic Banks (see the annex). The major revisions are asthe following. First, the requirements for the materials and color of paperused to print the aforementioned vouchers are cancelled. Second, therequirements for the declaration of electronic vouchers by domestic banks arespecified. Third, element names and instructions for filling in and submittingthe aforementioned vouchers are slightly amended. Fourth, domestic banks may,based on their businesses, adjust the content and format of foreign-related anddomestic receipt and payment vouchers appropriately.
