江湖有言：“吉永塾的自主研，向来是一场智力、体力、学习力、魅力乃至‘酒力’的综合角斗场。”此言非虚，却也未尽其妙，与其说是“角斗”，不如说是一场盛大的“雅集”。更是一场吉永塾师兄弟们一年一度的“武林大会”，是散落在天南海北的家人，放下身份，抛开俗务，回归“塾生”这一纯粹角色的团聚盛会。
A Gathering of Heroes: Wisdom Meets Strength
As the saying goes: “YOSHI JUKU’s self-study is a comprehensive arena of intellect, stamina, learning ability, charisma, and even drinking capacity.” While humorous, this description barely scratches the surface. Rather than a duel, it is better described as a grand symposium—a yearly “martial arts conference” for YOSHI JUKU disciples, a reunion where identities are set aside, worldly concerns forgotten, and everyone returns to the pure role of “student.”

Positioned at the prime of their development, they serve as a vital bridge between past and future, forming the backbone of Yoshinaga Juku. They combine the composure of their senior brothers with an emerging personal style. Like a military command center, they excel at leveraging data and tools for systematic analysis, carefully calculating the cost-benefit ratio of each improvement to ensure resources are allocated where they matter most.

ETV Assembly Group (Cohort disciples 4): embodies calmness and simplicity—the “Hidden Masters.” As the cohort with the longest learning experience, they have progressed from imitation to forming their own understanding. They carry less sharpness and more composure. Like the legendary “Sweeping Monk” in martial arts novels, they appear unassuming yet consistently uncover critical improvement points in overlooked corners, demonstrating a relaxed confidence and a wisdom that reflects the principle of “winning without a move.”

Welding & Painting Group (cohort disciples 5): composed of fifth-cohort disciples, are steadfast and diligent—the “Trailblazing Oxen.” As the emerging force of Yoshinaga Juku, they burn with an intense thirst for knowledge and passion for practice. Like tireless pioneers, they tackle the most demanding and complex welding and painting processes step by step, watering the soil of improvement with sweat. Their perseverance and execution power are truly remarkable, showcasing endurance and unwavering commitment.

EFG Group (Session 6): The EFG group, composed of sixth-cohort disciples, are fearless newcomers—the true “Kings of Hustle.” As the latest generation of brothers and sisters, they are the genuine “rising wave.” Armed with the newest theoretical knowledge and a bold spirit of “fearless calves unafraid of tigers,” they embody the essence of relentless drive—pushing themselves to the limit and outworking their predecessors. Their presence is like a catfish stirring the waters, energizing the entire arena and igniting everyone’s fighting spirit.
这场盛事，同样得到了承办方永恒力的高度重视，与鼎力支持。在庄重而热烈的启动仪式上，永恒力的德方领导以一番热情洋溢的致辞，表达了对本次赛事的殷切期待。他希望，现场的39名塾生能够与企业方的代表们，并肩作战，将智慧的火花，凝聚成燎原之火，不仅要去发现问题，更要把改善的成果，永远地留在现场，实实在在地改变现场。这番话给这场“工业华山论剑”定下了实事求是的主调。
The host, Jungheinrich, lent strong support. At the solemn opening ceremony, the German leadership delivered an impassioned speech, urging the 39 participants to work shoulder-to-shoulder with company representatives, transforming sparks of wisdom into flames of change—not just identifying problems but embedding improvements permanently on-site.

赛事甫一开始，现场便弥漫开一股，“比赛第一，友谊第七”的奇特氛围。说它激烈，是因为每个小组，都憋着一股劲，要在成果墙上，占据最耀眼的位置；说它友善，是因为转过头，你总能看到，不同组的师兄弟凑在一起，为一个难题，争得面红耳赤，最终却又握手言欢，共同举杯。这正是吉永塾独有的文化魅力。

From the outset, the atmosphere was charged—a paradoxical blend of “competition first, friendship seventh.” Fierce, because every team aimed to dominate the results wall; friendly, because heated debates often ended in laughter and shared drinks. This is the cultural charm of YOSHI JUKU.

The sixth Session—the fearless “new wave”—embodied the creed of “unlimited responsibility for physical effort.” By day, they paced the vast factory floors; by night, they huddled around whiteboards, running intellectual marathons. Their relentless drive spurred older Sessions to push beyond fatigue, creating a scene of ceaseless motion—a symphony of footsteps and determination.

11月16日上午，当最终的改善成果在赛场的墙面上如一幅幅精美的画卷般徐徐展开时，所有人都为之震撼。这不再是枯燥的数据和图表，而是一个个生动的故事，是智慧与汗水的交响乐。每一支队伍的成果都带着鲜明的团队烙印：
On November 16, as improvement results adorned the walls like vibrant murals, awe swept the room. These were not mere charts—they were stories of grit and brilliance. Each team’s output bore its unique imprint:

In this competition, YOSHI JUKU disciples worked side by side with company colleagues, jointly identifying nearly 8,000 issues on-site and delivering close to 500 actionable improvement proposals. These figures represent the crystallization of hard work and the convergence of wisdom.
不过，在吉永塾的哲学里，成绩永远只是通往下一个起点的路标，而未来则充满了更为艰巨的挑战。正如大师兄与俞校长在总结时时常鞭策的那样，尽管字面上的数字看似庞大，但与他们心中“于细微处见真章，于无声处听惊雷”的至高要求相比，仍存在着巨大的差距。
However, in the philosophy of YOSHI JUKU, achievements are never the ultimate goal—they are merely milestones on the path to the next starting point, while the future holds even greater challenges. As the senior brother Mr Jin and Principal Yu often remind everyone during the summary sessions, although these numbers appear impressive, they still fall far short of the ultimate standard of “finding truth in the smallest details and hearing thunder in silence” that they aspire to.
这并非苛责，而是一种更高的期许，一种“取法乎上，仅得其中；取法乎中，故为其下”的清醒认知。他们指出，发现8000个问题，说明现场管理的颗粒度还不够细；输出500个提案，说明系统性解决问题的能力还有待提升。这些差距，正是所有塾生们在未来的道路上需要不断求索、持续改善的动力源泉，是“吾将上下而求索”的永恒命题。
This is not criticism, but a higher expectation, a clear understanding that "aiming high, one may only achieve the middle; aiming for the middle, one will only achieve the lower." They pointed out that discovering 8,000 problems indicates that the granularity of on-site management is not fine enough; producing 500 proposals shows that the ability to systematically solve problems needs to be improved. These gaps are precisely the driving force for all students to continuously explore and improve on their future path, the eternal proposition of "I will continue to explore and strive."

As Xunzi said: “Without accumulating small steps, one cannot reach a thousand miles; without gathering small streams, one cannot form a river.” And again: “Those who act will succeed; those who walk will arrive.” We believe YOSHI JUKU disciples will continue to uphold the virtues of resilience and integrity, advancing steadily on the Lean path and contributing brilliance to China’s manufacturing renaissance.
