Realogistics completed air transport export services for ultra-high cargo security machines for an important customer.

On October 17, 2023, Realogistics received a customer’s cargo export bidding notice. Realogistics actively responded to the customer’s needs and provided the best solution. On November 19, it successfully obtained the customer’s export order and exported two ultra-high security machines to New Delhi, India.

Due to the exhibition goods, the time requirements are urgent. Realogistics provided the best solution as soon as possible and confirmed the ATA certificate and other export documents with the customer in advance.

Pick up in Jiangsu and deliver to Shanghai, PVG-DEL

(1) The cargo is oversized, and there is no direct freighter available in China, so only a transfer freighter plan can be selected. 

(2) The customer’s cargo is an ATA exhibition item, and the time requirements are strict. Shanghai Customs needs 2 working days to review the materials, and the oversized cargo needs to be parked for 24 hours as required, which is more demanding for cabin space.

(3) Shanghai Customs has strict requirements for ATA goods, and it is necessary to unpack and check the cargo serial number. The cargo packaging is large and requires professional tools to unpack.

(1) Realogistics searched for transportation plans from multiple ports as soon as possible. Due to the aircraft model restrictions, Chengdu 3U direct flight cannot accept this height of cargo.

Combining with customer needs, Realogistics compared transportation plans from multiple locations and finally chose Shanghai CX with 747 aircraft models for the first leg of the journey, and confirmed a stable cabin space.

(2) The cargo arrived at Shanghai Airport on the 20th. The weight of the customer’s ATA certificate was not provided according to the net weight, which did not meet the customs requirements. With the cooperation of the customer and Realogistics’ coordination, it was urgently sent back for modification. The file was officially submitted for review on the 23rd, and the review was passed on the 25th.

(3) Due to the large size of the cargo packaging and the unsuitability of the packaging for unpacking, after coordination by multiple parties, only one side of the packaging was opened without completely unpacking it.

After inspection and confirmation of the ATA certificate serial number, the original packaging was restored. The cargo was parked for 24 hours before delivery on the 26th. Finally, the cargo took off from Shanghai on the 27th, transferred in Hong Kong, and arrived at New Delhi Airport on the 28th without any issues.
