On October 7, 2023, our company received an urgent commission from a client for two consecutive shipments of control cabinets that needed to be transported from the Bangalore factory in India to Kuwait. The details are as follows:

First Batch: 17 pieces/Total Gross Weight 36,700 kg/102.26 cubic meters, including 13 oversized items, with a readiness date of October 14th.
Second Batch: 20 pieces/Total Gross Weight 33,600 kg/83.83 cubic meters, including 16 oversized items, with a readiness date of October 19th.

The cargo will be picked up from the factory by trucks in Bangalore, transported to the Bangalore Airport, then transited through Doha, and finally delivered to Kuwait.

1. Tight Schedule, Heavy Task
The goods are ready for dispatch relatively late, and to ensure the project starts smoothly, the first batch of equipment must be delivered by October 24th, and the second batch no later than October 30th.
2. 100% Open Box Inspection
As per Indian customs and airline requirements, both shipments must undergo a 100% open box inspection before transportation, and arrangements must be made for a packaging company to carry out re-packing work at the airline's ground warehouse after inspection.
3. Dense Public Holidays in October in India
October has a high density of public holidays in India, so detailed planning is required in advance to ensure that there are no disruptions during the transportation execution, including vehicle reservations, factory pickup schedules, customs inspections, export documentation, and ground warehouse handovers.
4. Daytime Truck Restrictions for Pickup
The factory is located in an area of Bangalore where daytime truck restrictions are in place, so pickup and transportation will be arranged during the evening.
5. Ensure Cargo Capacity, No Partial Shipments
Due to customs clearance requirements at the destination port, each batch of cargo cannot be partially shipped. Therefore, negotiations with the airline are necessary to ensure cargo capacity.
6. Restrictions on Cargo Height for Oversized Items
Due to the oversized nature of the cargo, only the B777F aircraft model can accommodate it on this route, with only two flights per week from the transit hub in Doha to Kuwait. Furthermore, based on the first leg flight schedule, there is only one option for the onward leg.

For this logistics project, Realogistics closely adhered to the client's requirements, meticulously organized the operation, and successfully completed the transportation of the two batches of cargo.
