Digitoll: Deadlines postponed – but we are ready to roll out

The Norwegian Customs Authority has confirmed new deadlines for the implementation of Digitoll, giving the industry more time to adapt. The postponement is intended to ensure a smooth transition and reduce the risk of operational issues. It's crucial that all stakeholders have time to implement solutions that work in practice and maintain stability across the supply chain during this critical phase.

The digital reporting and information obligation will be introduced on September 15, 2026, while the requirement for advance declaration and the discontinuation of the direct transport scheme will be implemented on February 1, 2027.

Why are the Digitoll deadlines postponed?
