A Journey Begins
Two decades ago, Computershare Plan Managers Asia (‘CPM Asia’) embarked on an exploratory mission to Hong Kong and Mainland of China, seeking to understand the local market and evaluate the feasibility of establishing our presence in this region. What began as an investigation has grown into a resounding success story, positioning CPM Asia as the leader in equity compensation services. With dedicated, experienced, and knowledgeable share plan professionals, and our proprietary technologies, CPM Asia delivers a single partner approach servicing more than 250 corporate clients, 500,000+ employee participants and managing over 500+ share incentive plans.

Milestones of Growth
2005:
The CPM Asia team founded in Sydney, Australia, securing our first client in Mainland of China and laying the groundwork for future expansion.
2009:
We made a move, relocating staff to Beijing and Hong Kong, China, to establish a local presence and deepen our market understanding.
2012:
Our efforts culminated in the launch of the first Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) in Asia, marking a significant milestone in our journey.
2017:
Expanding our footprint into Singapore, we quickly secured our first mandate in the region.
2018:
Our Asia team celebrated a significant achievement with the onboarding of our 100th staff member, reinforcing our commitment to growth.
2020:
We proudly onboard our 250th client and combine forces with Plans Australia & New Zealand to become one Asia Pacific Region, to further enhance our global corporate servicing capabilities.
2021-2024:
Our client profile keeps expanding in Asia by securing a number of mandates from Taiwan as well as the South-East Asia region in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Cambodia.
2025:
We proudly celebrate 20 years of dedicated service in the Asian market, a testament to our constant commitment to our clients.
