EB-5中国签证：
2014年8月23日，国务院宣布今年中国大陆出生的EB-5申请人签证冻结，直到2014年9月30日。如所预期的，2014年10月签证公共显示出，EB-5签证现在对中国大陆出生的投资者是“Current”可以获得的。然而，Charles继续预期，截止日将在2015财年下半年的某个时间点，开始设定，可能最早会在明年5月。Charles希望在明年1月份时，会有充分的数据，来预测EB-5签证将来的走向。
EB5Sir注：现在就排期而言，有两个关键时间点。一个是今年11月，中期选举之后，奥巴马可能颁布行政令，将EB-5签证配额的使用，从行政角度，将基于个人的10,000张签证，转换到基于10,000个投资者（不包括配偶和小孩）。一个是，如果排期不可避免的话，就看明年1月份左右的数据了。
On September 8, 2014, the October 2014 Visa Bulletin was released. Shortly thereafter, on September 11, 2014, AILA “checked in” with Charles (“Charlie”) Oppenheim, Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division, U.S. Department of State, to obtain his analysis of current trends and future projections for the various immigrant preference categories. The checkup is part of an AILA monthly series designed to keep members informed of Visa Bulletin progress and projections. Below are highlights of Charlie’s predictions based on the October 2014 Visa Bulletin.
EB-5 China:
The State Department made an announcement that as of August 23, 2014, EB-5 immigrant visa numbers for Chinese nationals in the EB-5 category would be unavailable through September 30, 2014. As expected, the October 2014 Visa Bulletin reflected the EB-5 visa is now current for mainland-born Chinese EB-5 investors. However, Charlie continues to predict that a cut-off date may be imposed at some point during the second half of the fiscal year, possibly as early as May. Charlie hopes that sufficient demand data will be available in January which will help in predicting future movement in this category.
