With the launch of Amazon FBA Inbound Shipment Tracking (FIST) and the expansion of services related to ShipTrack, we will be making corresponding updates to the logistics provider services and seller experience.

1. What changes can I expect as a ShipTrack carrier?

  • Name Change: The current ShipTrack carriers will be unified under the name “FIST carriers.”

  • Carrier List Display: Based on seller experience and the number of service providers, we will no longer display the FIST carrier list in a dropdown menu during the shipment creation process on the seller platform. Instead, the dropdown will show only "FIST Carrier" (or "FIST Carriers" in English) for sellers to select.

Note: The carrier selection here does not affect the actual carrier handling or tracking of the shipment. Your company just needs to ensure that shipment information is promptly updated and maintained after pickup.

All carriers will be displayed on the Amazon Global Selling website on the dedicated FIST carriers page. Sellers will still be able to click on the carrier’s name to be redirected to your official website for more details. Additionally, sellers can access the FIST carriers page via three highlighted links (in yellow) during the shipment creation process.

The changes to the seller platform will go into full effect on 12/3 for US sites. The rollout will be in a gray-release transition phase, and you and sellers may notice some page changes (see the image on the right). Updates for the EU/JP/CA sites will be rolled out later.

2. What do I need to know about the upcoming Delivery Window Automation feature?

Carriers who activate the Delivery Window Automation feature, upon seller authorization, will be able to automatically sync the estimated delivery windows of shipments for the seller. Before the feature is launched, sellers must manually update the expected delivery window.

Once the feature is live, carriers who have activated it will be able to manage and update the estimated delivery window based on real-time shipment status. This will simplify seller operations, reduce communication costs, and improve information accuracy.

For the official activation date of this feature for carriers, please refer to Amazon’s written notice. Meanwhile, we encourage you to improve the completeness and accuracy of shipment updates, including ensuring that full shipment details are provided and updating the estimated delivery time as soon as there are changes. The use of the Delivery Window Automation feature in the future will be closely linked to these performance factors.

3. What changes will my sellers see if I enable the Delivery Window Automation feature? How should I communicate with them?

For FIST carriers who have enabled the Delivery Window Automation feature, please remind sellers that they will need to:

  1. During the shipment creation process, under the default option “FIST Carrier,” they should check the box labeled "Allow FIST Carrier to update my delivery time".

Other shipment creation steps will remain the same, and no additional actions are required. The specific steps are as follows:

    a. As usual, go to the seller platform, click Catalog, then select Inventory > Shipments, and enter the Send to Amazon page to confirm the shipping address and the inventory being sent.

    b. In Step 2: Confirm Shipping, select Use your own carrier. Sellers can also click the FIST Advantages icon to be redirected to the FIST carriers list page for more information.

    c. In Step 2, ensure that:

    d. Proceed with the remaining steps as per the normal shipment creation process. No other changes will occur.

    e. After the shipment is created and picked up, your seller will automatically see the updated estimated delivery window once you push and sync the shipment details with Amazon.

    f. If your seller changes their mind and wants to manually update the estimated delivery window after the shipment has been created, they can do so by following these five steps:

    • In the Delivery Window section, the box "Allow FIST Carrier to update my delivery time" is checked by default.
    • In the Carrier section, the default selection Non-Amazon Carrier → FIST Carrier is maintained. Do not change this.

    1. Go to Manage Shipments.

    2. Find and click on the relevant shipment.

    3. On the Shipment Overview page, click on the Shipment Name next to the relevant ID (red box) to re-enter the Send to Amazon workflow.

    4. In the Final Step: Tracking Details section, click Edit Delivery Window.

    5. Uncheck the box "Update Delivery Window" and manually edit the delivery time, then save the changes.
