On September 2, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) and the GACC signed two key protocols, which respectively establish quarantine and sanitary requirements for the export of dried deer antlers for medical use and live reindeer to China. The signing marks a significant breakthrough in bilateral cooperation in the trade of animal products.
Meanwhile, both sides are actively advancing cooperation to facilitate the access of more Russian meat products to the Chinese market. The current key areas under discussion include finished pork, poultry and beef products, as well as dairy products and feed for productive animals destined for export to China.
