In March, another three CRMs went for their hotel visits to explore more about their fabulous hotels, meet up with their hotel partners, get more knowledge of the market and of course, to build strong relationship with our hotel teams so as to together drive performance.

In late March, CRM Connie Shen had her hotel visit to the very special complex hotels, Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok and DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, which are centrally located in the heart of Bangkok’s business, shopping and entertainment district, and are within walking distance to BTS Phrom Phong Station.
Situated in an area known as Bangkok’s “Jing’an Temple” location, guests can stay on the Sukhumvit line to travel directly to various leisure attractions, or just walk less than 5 minutes to The Emporium and The EmQuartier shopping malls. The outdoor infinity pool, is the perfect location to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the stunning view of Bangkok.
Having spent great efforts on driving hotel performance, Connie and the hotel team have built a strong relationship in the past few months. Working with such a young, energetic, and proactive hotel team, we see a fantastic year 2017 ahead of us!

Millennium Hilton Bangkok
Cluster Revenue Manager Ayesha Mahtani also went to the city of Bangkok for her hotel visit of Hilton Millennium Bangkok in March. Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, the hotel offers breath-taking views of the city from every one of its 533 rooms and suites. Can you imagine the hotel actually operates its own shuttle boats, and provides guests with complimentary transport to and from the hotel? The hotel is also close to many Bangkok's cultural attractions like the Temple of Dawn and Grand Palace.
With a full-hotel renovation expected to happen in November this year, Ayesha and the team sit together to formulate a strategy that allows the hotel to drive performance with limited inventory. Additionally, the site inspections of competitors helped Ayesha gain incremental knowledge about the market in order to be able to deploy better strategies. The hotel team has a huge contribution to the performance of the hotel, as their motivation and team spirit allow them to drive business. The team has been very welcoming to Ayesha and they have great collaboration.Together we are confident on driving better performance in the future.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Suzhou
In early March, Cluster Revenue Manager Elsie set her trip to DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Suzhou for hotel visit. Located in such a convenient area in the center of its industrial zone, shopping area, restaurants and attractions are all within short distance. What's more? The hotel has become a landmark with its unique design.
Suzhou is a modern city rich in its tourism resources and prosperous in industrial development. Suzhou Industrial Park, which is where our hotel is, attacted many world top 500 companies and is close to many popular leisure attractions. Being the first Hilton branded hotel in Suzhou, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Suzhou, entered the market with a strong brand perception and has done a great job in this intensively competitive market within a couple of months of its opening.
The hotel achieved and exceeded its budget in its first year and continued to outperform in Q1 2017. With great efforts from both hotel and Elsie, we have confidence to bring back home a successful year 2017.

Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences
Elsie also went to Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences in March to get better knowledge of hotel products and the market. The hotel is well situated in the city's business and entertainment district, making it very convenient to go shopping at city center and is close to train station and airport.
Being the capital city of Shandong province, Jinan has been well developed with its unique geographic location and tourism resources. The city is renown as "the City of Springs" with many natrual springs, among which, Baotu Spring is most famous, attracting tourists from all over the world. And of course, Daming Lake, bears its legendary story.
Being the first hotel & residence Hilton brand in China, Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences has caught lots of attention since its opening and has made great progress. Through this visit and continuous efforts from partnership of Elsie and the hotel team, we are looking forward to a very bright future creating more revenue and delivering fantastic results in the future.

济南作为山东的省会，因其得天独厚的地理位置赢得了长远的发展。同时，济南的旅游资源也不逊色于别处。因境内泉水众多，济南又被称为“泉城”，素有“四面荷花三面柳，一城山色半城湖”的美誉。小学课本上的趵突泉，承载了夏雨荷和乾隆皇帝情缘的大明湖均出自这里。
