首先,先和大家打个招呼也做一个自我介绍吧
Hello RMCC social buzz的小伙伴大家好,我是Monica,今天很开心可以来参与这个采访,其实我的工作经历相对比较简单,我是2014年毕业于英国埃克塞特大学,研究生学位,主修专业是会计与金融,RMCC是我第一份工作,从2014年加入RMCC之后我就没有离开过了,我从最开始的Revenue Analyst到Cluster Reveue Manager再到Senior Cluster Revenue Manager,今年7月升职成为 RMCC Director of JKM&AUA, 8年时间希尔顿一直陪伴我,见证我,我有幸和希尔顿一起成长。
Can you please give us a brief introduction of yourself?
Hello RMCC social buzz! Thank you for inviting me for this session. I’m Monica, and I’ve been with Hilton RMCC APAC for 8 years. I joined the center back in July 2014 just after graduating from the University of Exeter with my Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance, meaning Hilton RMCC was my first formal job. I was able to grow from a Revenue Analyst to a Cluster Revenue Manager, then to a Senior Cluster Revenue Manger to what I am today – Director of RMCC looking after the Australasia & Japan/Korea regions. I’m very proud to be part of the RMCC family throughout my journey!

那当初是什么样的契机选择了RMCC?当你进入RMCC之后,有想过会在RMCC一路成长到今天的这个职位吗?
Why did you choose RMCC?
I attended one of RMCC’s campus recruitment events in May 2014 and was really fascinated by the role of a revenue manager – it’s about telling the stories behind the numbers and effectively communicating the strategies with stakeholders.

在这一路的成长中,对于你来说,收获最大的是什么?

收获最大的是我结交了一群良师益友,刚入职的时候,我在Clay的小组里,Clay带我入门,带我了解酒店这个行业,数据分析,后来我做收益经理负责澳洲的酒店,和Frank进行更多的交流,他给到我工作上的指点,帮助,反馈,告诉我应该怎么样提升,酒店的stakeholder也会和我分享很多酒店的故事,让我更深入的了解到酒店具体的情况,我的导师也会经常和我聊天,了解我的动态,开导我,这些年我收获到的最多的是良师益友们对我的帮助和支持,成长为今天的我吧!

What has been the biggest achievement for you?
I have to say it’s the people that I get to know and work with. We can only be strong with the people around us. We learn from each other, and the leaders within Hilton are very generous in providing feedback and coaching. When I first joined RMCC as an analyst, I was on Clay’s team. He helped me build the knowledge of hospitality industry and revenue management that I needed to grow within the team. In 2016, I became a Cluster Revenue Manager managing 4 Northern Territory properties in Australia. Frank Fery was my first Regional Director of Revenue, and he played an important role in strengthening my revenue capabilities.

日常生活中,如果你觉得有压力你用什么样的方式来解压呀?除了乒乓徒步之外,还有别的方式可以和大家分享吗?

运动,在RMCC我们有跟了我们很久的乒乓球台,有时候一天工作累了或者脑子一下子宕机了,我们都会摇人去打球,哪怕打上10分钟,都会有不一样的效果,打乒乓我是真的还挺感兴趣的,日常换脑选乒乓,除了乒乓我还会游泳,小时候专业游的那种,然后平常追剧,出去和好朋友一起吃饭聊天,没疫情的时候经常出去旅游都是我解压的方式.

第一个就是,我们一直在招人!
经验说不上,就是始终相信你自己,大胆去尝试,你一定可以!
