Team Member Appreciation Week

希尔顿亚太区收益管理整合中心(下称RMCC)的企业文化是建立在嘉奖员工以及不断创新的基础上的。没有什么比团队成员感谢周里发生的一切能更好的体现我们的文化了!在一年一度的希尔顿团队成员感谢周里,我们用了五天时间向每一位为了希尔顿和RMCC的成功做出贡献的团队成员表示了感谢。让我们一起看看在这周都发生了什么吧!

At RMCC Asia Pacific, we have built a culture on the foundations of innovation and recognition. This could not be more evident than during Hilton’s annual Team Member Appreciation week, where we spent the week recognizing all of our team members for all that they do to drive the success of both RMCC and Hilton. Let’s share some of the highlights:


星期一.Monday

躁起来躁起来!非比寻常的一周从每人一张水果卡和每人一件感谢周主题T恤开始。

中午时分,几位同事还在讨论“今天吃什么”的世纪难题,电脑屏幕上就跳出了一条提醒:华尔道夫品牌午餐要开始啦!原来,以精致奢华和丰富文化而著名的华尔道夫已经在我们四十六楼商业服务团队的办公室为大家准备好了丰富的午宴。

在午宴开始之前,大中华区的品牌市场总监Hazel为大家展示了华尔道夫为了吸引更多年轻的消费者而拍摄的全新广告。在广告里,华尔道夫崭新的面貌以及深刻的底蕴被尽致淋漓地呈现了出来。此外,一名来自上海外滩华尔道夫酒店的资深主厨向我们展示了如何做出一道传奇的华尔道夫色拉,大家都在各种美食中流连忘返!

Starting the week with gift cards and a special designed TMAW T-shirts, our team members know they had a special week ahead!

Noon approached, there were some colleagues were discussing about where they should go for lunch until a reminder popped up on their computer screens saying that Waldorf Astoria Brand Activation Lunch was about to begin! Waldorf Astoria, famous for its luxury and abundant culture, provided a lunch served on the 46th floor, the regional office of Commercial Services team.

Before the lunch, Hazel, Director of Brand Marketing GCM, presented a newly-launched advertising video demonstrating its profound culture and new features with the intention of attracting customers of younger generation. Furthermore, a senior chef from Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund presented our team members a detailed process of making the famous signature salad. Every team member was immersed in all kinds of delicacies!

星期二.Tuesday

RMCC一直致力于让团队成员能在工作和生活中找到平衡,并保持身心健康。为了让大家更好的记录自己每天行走的步数,监测心率和睡眠质量,我们为每一位团队成员准备了小米手环。考虑到大家每天花费很多时间坐在电脑前,借着感谢周的机会我们专门邀请了专业的按摩师们来到办公室为大家进行肩颈按摩。在舒缓身心的同时,按摩师还为大家提供了不少养生的建议。下午的主题是“冰淇淋社交”,香甜的冰淇淋与办公室里随处可见的感谢周标语相得益彰。

RMCC has always put a lot of value on our work-life balance and wellness. In the morning, each team member was given a Mi Band fitness wristband which can easily track your steps, heart rate and quality of sleep.

Considering that our team members spend a lot of time sitting in front of computer, we also invited professional masseurs to come to our office and provided our team with massages. During this enjoyment, masseurs offered our team members some advice and tips about how to relieve ourselves from pain caused by excessive sitting.

The theme of afternoon was “ice-cream social”. The sweetness of the ice cream was matched by recognition wallpapering the office.

星期三.Wednesday

提问:如果汉堡王和冰雪皇后结婚,他们会住在哪里?
答案是:白色城堡!
北京烤鸭,脆虾,香辣鸡肉,芒果鳄梨…这是许多团队成员第一次尝试这么多不同“内容”的迷你汉堡!

下午,王者荣耀争霸赛拉开了序幕。比赛由上海虹桥元一希尔顿酒店主办,其他江浙区域的希尔顿酒店协办并参与其中。RMCC的千禧一代也积极踊跃的参加了比赛,虽然我们没有取得最终的胜利,但比赛的意义并不仅仅在于结果。我们努力过,参加过,奋斗过,团结和重在参与的精神与我们同在。虽然比赛已经落下帷幕,但我们仍然会继续练习争取明年夺冠。

午后,办公室里送来了许多不同口味的清爽茶饮。在忙碌的日程中喝一杯清凉的冷饮感觉超棒的!

And the answer is White Castle!

The lunch today was provided by White Castle. Peking duck, Crisp shrimp, spicy chicken, and mango avocado… it’s the first time for many of us to try sliders with so many different “contents”!

Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao held a competition of King of Glory, in cooperation with six other Hilton hotels in Jiangsu & Zhejiang Area. King of Glory is one of the most popular online mobile games. Our young generations in RMCC were also interested in playing it and quickly formed a “battle team”. Although we didn’t make it all the way to the top in the end, but the spirit of this competition is not the result, but the engagement and collaboration. We prepared, we participated, and we enjoyed. The battle team is going to keep their practice and they are confident in being the champion for the next year.

In the afternoon, different flavours of bubble tea were delivered to the office. It felt good to take a refreshing cold drink out of your busy schedule!


星期四.Thursday

在RMCC,我们根据超级英雄的超能力和酒店各个方面的业绩相匹配,创造了以这些超级英雄命名的各种奖项。为了延续这一传统,我们把办公室变成了一个私人影院全天滚动播放超级英雄电影!“电影院”当然少不了无限量的汽水和爆米花啦!你们都是RMCC的超级英雄,谢谢你们的贡献和付出!

午餐时分,我们开展了有趣的“边吃边学”活动。

“吃”的部分,我们享用了上海当地夏季最受欢迎的馄饨和冷面。


“酒足饭饱”之后,“学”的部分就开始了。培训经理Samantha向我们简要介绍了什么是Emergenetics,如何阅读Emergenetics的报告并向我们展示了RMCC的整个团队的报告。此外,她还进行了一些有趣的练习,以帮助我们更好地了解我们自己,我们更倾向的思维方式,以及同事的思考和行为模式。

傍晚时分,亚太区高级收益总监Hany做东邀请大家在外滩上的Chop Chop酒吧小酌了几杯。

In RMCC, we have created different kinds of awards named after super heroes based on similar characteristic between their super power and hotel performance. Following this tradition, today we turned our pantry into a private cinema and prepared several Marvel movies to fill the day. And how can we host such activities without carbonated drinks and unlimited popcorn! You’re all superheroes and we appreciate your contribution!

A very interesting lunch & learn session was held at noon time.

For the “lunch” part, Shanghainese wonton and cold noodle - local’s favourite in summer time were delivered right on time.

Then began the “learn” part, which was conducted by our training manager Samantha. She gave us a brief introduction of Emergenetics, how to read our Emergenetics profiles and presented RMCC’s group profile. She also conducted a few fun exercises to help us understand better who we are, how we prefer to think, what are the emergence of our behaviour, as well as those of other colleagues in the office.

In the evening, Hany Mokhtar, Sr Director Revenue APAC, invited us to the Chop Chop Club on the Bund for a few drinks after work.

星期五.Friday

周五的气氛达到了顶峰,从去年沿袭下来的活动—— “速递日”如期举行。“速递日”是以小组讨论和项目交付为特色的。在未来几周内我们将会另外推送一篇文章讲述有关此活动的更多详情。
为了给感谢周画上一个完美的句点,每位希尔顿亚太区商业服务团队的成员都收到了从希尔顿新加坡办公室漂洋过海来的定制高科技大礼包:如无线充电器,可重复使用的智能笔记本,32GB双头USB和以及精美的施华洛世奇行李牌!

The atmosphere reached to climax on Friday, which our own legacy event – Su Di Day, was held. The well-scheduled day was featured on initiatives discussion and project delivery. More details of this event will be depicted in a separate article in upcoming weeks.

To draw a perfect conclusion, a gift pack for every team member within Hilton APAC Commercials Services team was delivered from Singapore Area Office at the end of the day, containing all high-tech swag such as wireless chargers, reusable intelligent notebooks, 32GB Dual Drive USB and a boutique SWAROVSKI luggage tag!
