为了以更有意义的方式庆祝狗年元宵节的到来，节日当天，希尔顿亚太区收益管理整合中心（下称RMCC）部分团队成员来到上海宝山贺阿姨的宠物救助基地进行了企业社会责任活动。这是2018年我们的首次企业社会责任活动，也为今年接下来的活动开了一个好头。共有超过40名团队成员志愿成为宠物救助基地义工，为基地宠物打扫狗舍、猫舍，并与它们进行了亲密互动。现在就让我们共同来回顾当天的精彩瞬间吧！
To celebrate the Chinese Lantern Festival and welcome the year of the dog in a meaningful way, RMCC partnered with Aunty He’s Pet Shelter in Baoshan on the 2nd of March. This is RMCC’s first Corporate Social Responsibility event of 2018, as well as a good start for the following charity events for the rest of the year. Over 40 team members voluntarily signed up to travel to the pet shelter and help the team of volunteers there clean and show some much-needed affection to the many stray cats and dogs living there. Now, let us review this remarkable journey together!
贺阿姨宠物救助基地所处的宝山区上海的北部。如果不是此起彼伏的狗吠声，第一次来这里的人很难一下子就找到基地这个由贺阿姨和她的女儿共同运营的流浪宠物避难所已有10余年历史。贺阿姨回忆道，1996年的某一天，她在回家路上偶然发现了一只小猫，并好心喂了食。自那之后，她便经常在同样的地方“偶遇”这只猫咪等着她投喂。渐渐地，贺阿姨开始产生了退休后建立一个避难所来收养流浪猫狗的想法。截至目前，宠物救助基地已为400余只狗和80余只猫提供住所，医疗和食物。
Aunty He’s Pet Shelter is in Baoshan, north of Shanghai’s city center. You may find this shelter difficult to spot, were it not for sound of barking dogs. This shelter, ran by Aunty He and her daughter has been welcoming stray cats and dogs for around 10 years. Recalling from the memory, Aunty He said she began this charity because she continuously met a stray cat in the same place to waiting to be fed back in 1996. This moved Aunty He to think about starting to adopt as soon as she got retired. Now, the pet shelter provides a roof, medicine and food to around 400 dogs and 80 cats in total.
义工队伍一共分成下午两组。上午的小分队负责扫地及喂食喂水，下午的小分队则负责拖地和整理工作，配合十分默契。同时，小组成员也一起撸狗吸猫，着实体验了一把当“铲屎官”的乐趣。有些小狗在刚接触我们的时候有些怕生，但与此同时，它们不停摆动的尾巴，无法掩藏自己兴奋的情绪。贺阿姨说，这是因为它们过去曾受到过不同程度的虐待。当你与它们玩耍时，你会感受到宠物们强烈的被关爱、被呵护、被依赖的需求。
Our team was separated into 2 groups - one in the morning and another in the afternoon. We did more sweeping and feeding in the morning, left mopping and the rest of organizing work in the afternoon. The common thing that we enjoyed both was playing with those lovely pets. Some dogs were a little apprehensive when we tried to be closer at the beginning, but they could not entirely hide their excitement as they kept wagging tails. Aunty He said that some stray dogs suffered a serious cruelty before they were being adopted here. When you were playing with them, you could feel a strong need for affection, being loved, being cared, and being wanted.
在过去的10多年里，贺阿姨用自己的爱心和善举唤醒了许多人对动物的关爱的意识。同时，她还呼吁大家，相比于去宠物店购买，以领养代替买卖是关爱宠物的更好的方式。
Aunty He raised awareness of caring animals by her kindness in the last decade. In the meantime, she advocates adopting animals from the pet shelter rather than buying from stores.
2017年，RMCC团队共累计了超过1700个企业社会责任活动小时，作为希尔顿的一部分，2018年，我们会秉持着我司“热情好客”的理念，将这段”爱心旅程”一直，一直进行下去。
In 2017, RMCC team accumulated over 1,700 CSR hours. As a part of Hilton, we’ll continue this love journey and fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality.
