诗节是希尔顿收益管理的一名高级分析师，2021年毕业于瑞典隆德大学金融专业。她主要负责数据归类分析、数据可视化和商业化汇总以及挖掘，并提供有价值的洞察。

Shijie is a senior revenue analyst at RMCC. She graduated from Lund University in Sweden in 2021 with a degree in Finance. She is mainly responsible for data analysis, data visualization, and generating commercial insights.

在工作之余，她享受和朋友们在一起的快乐时光。她也喜欢去到不同的地方旅行并用相机捕捉难忘的瞬间。她说：“我认为我有义务让这个世界变得更加美好， 这或许就是我热爱在希尔顿工作的主要原因。”

During weekends, Shijie enjoys spending time with friends and exploring various activities with them. She likes to travel around different places and capture beautiful pictures or videos. She also has a personal sense of responsibility for making the world better. This might explain why she is passionate about working at Hilton.

As a Finance student, Shijie would describe the opportunity of working at RMCC as “Serendipity”. She felt appreciated for the opportunity that RMCC provided which enabled her to explore a new area. During her internship, she gained insights into the hotel business from a commercial perspective and discovered that revenue management involved more than just managing pricing or inventory dynamically. It required her to apply analytical skills to various aspects such as forecasting future trends, increasing market share, optimizing distribution channels, and monitoring customer satisfaction.

诗节在 RMCC 实习期间受益良多：她发现自己对数据建模和编码非常感兴趣，在实习期间有非常多机会去提高这些技能，她常常会去钻研商业报表背后的代码，以及了解其背后的逻辑和数据源。这份实习机会帮助她选择了未来职业道路。更重要的是，她说她遇到了她一生中最好的团队 – Commercial Analytics Team。她享受与大家一起工作的时光，他们的职业精神和专业知识给她留下了深刻的印象。所以实习结束后诗节选择继续留在RMCC正式开始收益管理这段愉快旅程。

Having an internship at RMCC was a rewarding experience that shaped Shijie's career path. She found herself gradually interested in data modeling, and coding. Shijie used to examine and dig into the codes behind each report and dashboard to understand the logic and the data sources. On top of that, she met the best team ever in her life - Commercial Analytics Team. She enjoyed working with them who impressed her with their professionalism and expertise. They motivated her to start and pursue a career as a revenue analyst after her internship at RMCC.

现在作为一名高级收益分析师，诗节比以前承担了更多的责任和机会：除了日常工作例如商业报表创建、共享和更新之外，她开始独立负责更多的项目。她一直充满动力并随时准备好应对每一个挑战，始终保持学习新的技术技能或提高作为项目负责人的能力。然而，诗节认为在这个职位上学到的最有价值的东西是批判性思维：比起接受别人给出的建议，她更偏向于通过逻辑型组织分析讯息再得出合理判断。“先思而后行”。

As a senior revenue analyst at present, she has taken on more responsibilities and opportunities than before. Besides performing routine tasks such as creating, sharing, and updating reports for stakeholders, she started to receive more projects that she mainly leads by herself. She feels passionate and prepared to tackle every challenge and is willing to learn new technical skills or project management as a project owner. Nevertheless, the most valuable thing Shijie has learned is the importance of critical thinking. Instead of just accepting requests from others, she makes reasonable judgments and organizes the information logically. She emphasizes ‘thinking before acting’.

She was impressed by the Hilton culture and team atmosphere that fostered collaboration and learning. When she joined RMCC as a revenue analyst, she had one-on-one catch-ups with managers on a regular basis. They created a safe working environment where she could share thoughts and feelings. Their support and encouragement motivated her to excel in her position and role.

在她看来，团队里的每一个人不仅可以提供工作上的帮助，还可以在情感上给予支持，是一个和谐温暖的大家庭。她十分开心能有机会在这样一个才华横溢充满爱心的团队一起工作。在谈到她的团队时，她兴奋地说：“我们的团队拥有丰富的专业知识，我们的领导始终支持并赋能激励到每一个人。”

From Shijie’s point of view, they were not only experts in data analytics but also provided emotional support to build a warm and peaceful vibe as a big family. She feels grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented and caring team. When talking about her team, she said excitedly, ‘Our team is full of resources, and our team leaders are always willing to empower and enable team members.'

今年，诗节领导了一个 Power BI 项目，对她来说意义非凡。Power BI 是一个先进的平台，只需在交互式仪表板上单击几下即可监测业务绩效。在商务板块后面构建数据模型对于她而言就好似解决难题，她也特别喜欢这个挑战。在此过程中，她学会了如何整合可用的数据资源并输出商业洞察，这个项目加强了她的数据建模和编码能力，并为诗节未来在该领域的机会做好了充分的铺垫。

This year, Shijie volunteered to lead a Power BI project, which was a rewarding experience. Power BI is an advanced platform that allows stakeholders to monitor business performance with a few clicks on an interactive dashboard. Building the data model behind the dashboard was similar to solving a puzzle. She enjoyed the moments of overcoming those challenges, through which she learned how to consolidate the available data resources and interpret the commercial output. In conclusion, this project enhanced her data modeling and coding abilities, and fully paved the way for future opportunities in this field.
