Fudan University and Saudi Aramco officially launch “White Paper on China's Petrochemical Industry in the Context of Dual Carbon Goals”
China's “dual carbon goals” represent a solemn commitment to the Earth that must be strictly fulfilled. Faced with the challenge of tight timelines and heavy responsibilities, the oil and gas industry must fully disclose its carbon footprint to rise to the occasion.
As companies plan their supply chains, they must factor in the carbon emissions of raw materials, striking a balance between development and carbon reduction to ensure energy security and stability. Petrochemical enterprises should actively optimize their industrial chains and enhance the quality of development.
Fudan University, in collaboration with Saudi Aramco, formally releases the white paper on “Issues Facing China's Petrochemical Industry in the Context of Dual Carbon Goals,” using Saudi Aramco as a reference point to explore how it can contribute to the low-carbon, high-quality development of China's petrochemical industry.
The white paper primarily analyzes:
