In recent years, Nanmen Town has capitalized on its resource advantages to move its sugarcane industry up the value chain by processing fresh cane into higher-value brown sugar. This transition has generated an output value of more than 10,000 yuan per mu. “Nanmen Brown Sugar” has since grown into a distinctive local industry that boosts household incomes, supported by an integrated chain covering cultivation, processing, and sales. At present, the Town has over 10,000 mu of sugarcane under cultivation, and local villagers operate five brown sugar processing workshops. Together, they produce about 5 million kilograms of brown sugar annually, generating an output value of 190 million yuan. 近年来，当地依托资源优势，推动甘蔗产业向深加工延伸，将新鲜甘蔗熬制成附加值更高的红糖，实现亩均产值上万元。“南门红糖”已发展为一项特色富民产业，形成种植、加工、销售一体化的产业链条。目前，全镇甘蔗种植面积1万余亩，村民自办红糖加工厂5个，年产红糖约500万公斤，年产值1.9亿元，有效带动了本地就业与增收，为乡村振兴注入持续动力。
