China Gasoline Apparent Consumption Volume Statistics

According to SCI, China’s apparent consumption volume of gasoline was 10,691.2kt in October of 2017. The volume was up 3.57% from October of 2016, but it was down 1.83% from September of 2017.

China’s crude oil processing volume remained in an uptrend in October, with the increase in state-owned refineries’ and independent refineries’ operating rates. China’s export volume of gasoline went up greatly this October, reaching 969.8kt.

Sinopec Hainan Refining and Chemical Company shut down all of its units for maintenance in the middle of November, but the average operating rate at independent refineries increased. It is predicted that China’s gasoline output will continue increasing.
