Guangxi Investment Group to Launch Ethane-to-Ethylene Project

According to sources, Guangxi Investment Group plans to conduct 1,000kt/a ethane-to-ethylene project with the total investment of 10.1 billion RMB. Moreover, the project will start from June 2019 and will be completed in August 2021.

The project at Guangxi Investment Group includes 1,000kt/a ethane-to-ethylene unit, 300kt/a LLDPE unit, 300kt/a HDPE unit and other matched auxiliary facilities. Besides, Guangxi Investment Group will also provide 420.1kt of ethylene resources for other projects at Qinzhou Petrochemical Industrial Park.
