Tianjin to Replace Ron 92 & Ron 95 Gasoline with E10 by Sep 30

Recently, Sinopec Tianjin released a notice that its subsidiary sales companies will replace all Ron 92 and Ron 95 gasolines with ethanol gasoline ahead of September 30, 2018, and the oil storage facilities and storage tanks shall be upgraded and reconstructed before the deadline, according to SCI.

Given that, Tianjin has become the first city which confirms the concrete time to promote the use of ethanol gasoline since Tianjin and Shandong issued an announcement on the closed promotion of ethanol gasoline in December 2017, implying that the nationwide promotion of ethanol gasoline has been initiated formally.

Currently, there are 12 provinces promoting ethanol gasoline in China. Hereinto, all the gas stations in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Anhui, Henan and Guangxi only provide ethanol gasoline. However, the gas stations in Shandong, Hebei, Hubei, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Inner Mongolia can not only provide ethanol gasoline but also regular gasoline.
