Thai May NR Export Lower

According to the data newly released by the Thai customs, Thailand’s NR (including NR latex and mixed rubber) export volume was 425.1kt in May 2018, down 79.1kt or 15.69% M-O-M. And the volume was down 22.16% Y-O-Y.

In May, Thailand exported 129.5kt of mixed rubber, and the volume was down 32.9kt or 20% M-O-M and up 71% Y-O-Y. The total export volume of sheet rubber and standard rubber was 208.1kt, down 39.7kt M-O-M and down 10.87% Y-O-Y. The export volume of NR latex was 87.6kt, down 6.81% M-O-M and up 3.18% Y-O-Y.

As for the export volume of specified rubber varieties, the export volume of NR latex was 87.6kt, down 6.81% M-O-M. Hereinto, the export volume of concentrated NR latex was 71.7kt. The export volume of STR 20 was 130.3kt, and the export volume of RSS 3 was 43.1kt.
