China New PDH Catalysts Expected to Break International Monopoly

According to CNPC news center, School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University has recently developed a high-efficiency PDH platinum-based catalyst. It can significantly improve the propylene production efficiency and be supposed to break the long-term monopoly of PDH core technology in Western countries. It is learned that the PDH production process is the most promising technology for propylene production with the fastest growth rate in market share, and the platinum-based catalyst is the key point of PDH technology.
