ExxonMobil Chemical’s production lines in Asia-Pacific mainly located in Singapore. The performance and application of PP products at ExxonMobil Chemical in Asia-Pacific will be introduced as followed.

First, concerning grades of 7032E3, 7033E3 and 7032KN, they are mainly used for household appliances, electrical appliances and industrial barrels. They are also used to replace traditional metal drums. They have excellent impact strength and lighter weight, and they are tougher. Besides, it is easy to process them. Their transport cost and scrap rate are also low. 7032KN has higher rigidity, excellent mechanical properties and high impact strength under low temperature, so it is easy to reduce the products’ weight and production cost.

Second, 7555KNE2 is typical food-grade thin-walled injection molding product. It has a small smell and is mainly used in the field of hot filling and refrigerator storage marking. It also has excellent impact resistance and durability, thus, it is not easy to break the finished products produced by 7555KNE2.

Finally, 8285E1, the high-grade PP, will be introduced. It is largely used in automobile industry for bumper panels, instrument panels, door panels and decorative strips. It has excellent balance between the rigidity and toughness, and its impact resistance is about 35% higher than that of traditional copo PP. Its advantages in performance is obvious especially under low temperature. Moreover, the amount of plastic is less used in the production of automobile, realizing lightweight.
