ChemChina Guilin Tire Returned to Tire Market After Reforming

On December 6, under the witness of Fan Xinhong, Deputy Mayor of Guilin province, the commissioning ceremony of Guangxi Xinguilun Rubber was officially launched. After the project is fully completed, it will have an annual capacity of 1.5 million pieces/a of all-steel radial truck tires. It is estimated that the annual output value will exceed 1 billion RMB.

Why did Guangxi Xinguilun Rubber suddenly announce a high-profile entry into the all-steel tire industry?

According to market sources, this new company is inextricably linked with ChemChina Guilin Tire, and it was found that the Guangxi Xinguilun Rubber’s tire production project was implemented through the cooperation with Guilin Beili Tire, with the former fully adopting the idle production site, equipment and staff of the latter. The investor is responsible for bringing in professional production, technical and management teams.

Guilin Beili Tire is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinochem Group's ChemChina Guilin Tire, which was established in December 2016. Guangxi Xinguilun Rubber is invested and established by Zhejiang Tianlun Supply Chain Management, which was established in 2016. Zhejiang Tianlun Supply Chain Management’s main business scope is wholesaling, retailing and supply chain management of tires, automobile parts and other rubber products.

According to the Zhejiang Tianlun Supply Chain Management, the Guilin Economic Development Zone Management Committee took the initiative to communicate with Guilin Beili Tire after the company’s operation was found in trouble. On November 5, the Management Committee formally established the Guangxi Xinguilun Project Preparation Team. The new company's stationing and re-production work wascarried out. Since then, the two sides have formally established a cooperative relationship. The water, electricity, steam andemployment problems were solved. The original employees had all returned to the plant quickly, and the all-steel tire project with a capacity of 1.5 million pieces/a commenced smoothly.
