According to sources, the light olefin deep-processing project at Jiangsu Yanchang Petroleum & China Gas Chemical will locate in Taixing Economic Development Zone.

Main unit: 1,200kt/a PDH unit and 300kt/a PP unit

Investment: 10 billion RMB

Location: Tiaxing Economic Development Zone

According to SCI’s statistics, the total demand for imported propane will reach 1,416kt, and the demand for imported propane from the phase I unit will be about 708kt. Therefore, SCI reckons that China’s propane import volume will move up gradually.
